Chapter 37

"ALL OF YOU SHUT UP!!!" Ember blasted a cored on her guitar successfully making everyone in the room be quiet. She sighed "We will answer all of your questions as soon as Danny wakes up!"

Dash raised his hand "Are we talking about Fenton or Phantom?" the whole room erupted with questions and yelling again.

Sam sighed "We aren't getting anywhere..."

"Technically..." everyone quieted at the sound of a new voice "To answer Dash's question they would be talking about both."

Everyone gasped "Danny!!!" everyone started yelling questions at him.

He just blinked "I have no idea what any of you just said..."

Maddie pushed through the crowd "How do you know Phantom?!"

He gave her a questioning look "Well given that we're the same person... I guess we'd be pretty good friends!" He smiled while everyone just gapped at him "What? I thought we had already established that?"

Tucker leaned over to him "You're really bad at this..."

Danny glared at him "Shut up..." he looked back to everyone else "Well sense that's basically all you need to know I'll just go over here..." he tried to escape before Sam grabbed him by his ear and drug him back inside "Ow! Can you say...? OOOOOW!"

She patted him on the head "You'll be fine."

He rubbed his ear "That's how Thomas Edison became deaf in one ear you know! Someone grabbed him by his ear to keep him from falling out of a train!"

Sam rolled her eyes "That's just a myth. Experts doubt that that is the reason he went deaf in one ear!"

Mr. Lancer gapped at him "How did you know that?"

Danny did his very best to sound intellectual... "Huh?"

"How did you know that story about Edison?" Mr. Lancer clarified.

"Oh..." Danny rubbed his neck "I read a lot of books about space, NASA, and stuff like that. I guess in one of the books it talked about Edison's light bulb because it's used in space shuttles..."

Mr. Lancer kept staring at him "If you know two different languages, apparently can sing, and know obscure facts like that then why are you failing your classes?!"

"Um..." Danny thought for an excuse "Because... I'm busy?"

"Busy doing what?!" asked a frustrated Mr. Lancer.

Ember rolled her eyes "Saving the world. Duh!" They all just stared at her "What we have been trying to tell you idiots is that Danny Fenton and Danny Phantom are the same person. That means that whenever you see Danny Phantom saving the town from some ghost that's cutting into Danny Fenton's study time! I mean how you people could not see it sooner is beyond me!"

Jack crossed his arms "I don't believe you!"

Tucker threw his hands up in the air "Come on! He even has a piece of white hair and a green eye! What else will it take you to believe?!"

Danny sighed "I got this..." two rings formed around his waist and he changed into his ghost half. "Believe me now?" Suddenly Skulker came crashing through the widow. he smirked "Sorry... gotta take this..." and just like that the two ghosts flew out the window into battle.
