"Daisy's Acceptance"
In a field full of cheerful roses,
Lies a single lonely daisy
Filled with gloom and distress,
Indifferent she seems to be
Yet to hide and conceal she chooses,
Put on a smile so sunny
"But I don't need a friend that's heartless"
As the moonlight appears abruptly,
She says amidst the loneliness
She feels inside; a false joviality,
She scratches and then replaces
It with colours vibrant and lively
And this time, it's different but real
She's different from those roses
Now accepting who she is
Her uniqueness she embraces.
