Chapter 2 ~ Shattered

I sat there, silently watching my siblings. All I could do was watch, restricted from moving any closer, or to be more specific, my 'room'.

"Say Yuki. Wouldn't you like it if you married Kaname near the future? How about it Kaname?"

"Say Yes Onii-San!" The spoiled girl shouted giggling happily, awaiting for his answer.

We weren't on good terms. She...she wasn't, sister-like to me.... more or ever wanted Kaname to herself.

"So, how about it Kaname..?" Haruka asked staring dearly at his son.

'Please, please no Kaname, I thought you.....---

~FlashBack~

"Mizuki, I love you." As he looked at me with soft eyes.

I smiled, but then I frowned.

"I..I thought you liked Yuki" I said bitterly at the end, though, making sure he didn't notice.

"Mizuki, you know, I love you and you only.." He replied playing with my black hair.

"Hm, I don't think my eyes are beautiful to anyone don't you think?" I asked. My eyes now staring into his red wine ones. Mine were a Brighter red. And, a sapphire blue on the other.

"Yes, they're beautiful, please don't think badly of yourself." He said looking at me fondly.

"KANAME-Niisan!" A girl with brown hair like the rest of my 'family', barged.

"What are you doing here?" She asked glaring at me.

I remembered he gave me a gift. A rose, a rose that wilts whenever your sad, the life of it is forever gone. Or so I'm told.

But I also had a curse, one that--

"Kaname-Niisan! My birthdays tomorrow!" She giggled happily hugging him.

"Yes Yuki, I know, I also have a present for you."

"Also? Does that mean she got one?!" She yelled pointing at me.

'Stubborn girl' I thought slightly glaring at her.

She caught my little glare and did something I would've killed her for.

She screamed causing the glass to shatter.

"Mizuki!" Haruka Yelled at me.

I looked at her emotionless as I changed my expression. I'm not just a normal pure blooded vampire. I'm, powerful.

Juri looked at me in disgust as it reminded her of my uncle.

Slapping me. I felt nothing but pain. As my siblings watched me. Kaname gave me a saddened look. But I knew that he wouldn't give a care for me when Haruka and Judi were around.

After laying there, blood dripping a bit near my lip and bruised knees. I layed on the floor. As their emotionless eyes didn't look back.

Neither did Kaname's
