Elizabeth's Pov

The next day, It wasnt really good. For being next to a boy that's popular with the girls, It wasnt very happy. Alot of the girls were giving me looks, I wanted to be unnoticed by the girls like those.

"Hey guys! Smile!" One girl took her phone out and did a groufie with her friends, Mocking me that I'm the only person he didnt smile at.

I just sighed and walked away, I looked back and saw that Meliodas was kind of behind me and all the girls walked away. As if running away, Meliodas just had a poker face and kept on walking behind me.

"Should I still confess?" I mumbled, getting to my seat. Diane wasnt there yet so I just used my headset the whole time.

When the bell rang, I fixed my stuff and Noticed that Diane wasnt there. I guess she was sick today. I noticed that King was silent the whole time, Probably missing Diane.

"Diane? Where is she? Elizabeth?" She looked at me, "She might be sick."

"Oh, Okay. Who'll volunteer to go check on her?"She asked, I was about to speak when King just raised his hand and she nodded. I smiled, and faced my desk. I glanced at Meliodas and noticed that he was looking at me. But then looked away when I glanced at him.

Why cant he just smile? At me? Atleast once.

The period ended and continued on, Since I had no one for Lunch, I stayed outside and ate lunch on the court.

Whispers were everywhere, I just blocked them out with my headset.

Ban's Pov

While we were eating, we stayed quiet. I could tell that the cap'n would look at Elizabeth and Diane's table. They werent there.

"Elizabeth must be lonely~" I broke the silence.

"Yeah, she must be being picked on." King stated, I rose my brow.

"Picked on? Why would she be picked on?"

"haven't you heard? the girls are picking on her because well..." King didnt seem like he wanted to continue.

"Yeah, I dont smile at her. I know." Cap'n said, putting his hand on his chin.

"Why dont you ever smile at her anyway?" King asked, we both stared at him.

"No reason." He shrugged, "dont you see how sad she is when you turn you back when you dont smile?" I asked, I was getting really curious if why he does that.

He stared at me, I stared at him. "I notice everything."

King and I stayed silent, he actually said something. We exchanged looks.

"I always do."

Elizabeth's Pov

When the bell rang, it was the end on me being picked on. I went back to my classroom and was totally alone.

"I just want him to smile. Everyone's picking on me because he wont smile at me. Not that I want him to smile at me just to make them stop picking on me. I've tried to make him smile for a long time. But, No use." I rambled to myself, and when I got to class, I sat on my chair.

I sighed and looked out the window again. Just looking at the clouds calms me down.

The teacher came in, I sighed. My bestfriend wasnt here, I got picked on and I cant help but think of why He wont smile at me.

The lesson started and I couldnt help but sleep, the lesson was boring and easy anyway.

I drifted off to sleep.

"Ma'am, I can answer that." Someone stated rather loudly, which woke me up. I opened my eyes and looked to my side, Meliodas was raising his arm with a goofy smile.

I made a small smile, "I see you're awake Ms Liones. I was about to ask you a question but Meliodas just said that he could answer it." The teacher looked at me and Meliodas.

"No need to tell her, I just knew the answer that's all." Meliodas shrugged, The teacher nodded and Meliodas answered the question.

"Alright, I'll write your homework on the board. This is due tomorrow." The teacher turned around started writing. I copied what was written.

Someone nudged me, I looked to my right and saw Meliodas.

"You shouldnt sleep in this class even if its easy. You know this teacher wants to sleep too but she cant so she's grumpy." He stated, not looking at me because he was copying.

Did he just talk to me?

He just did.

I laughed, "I guess so, Thanks for a while ago "

I turned around and continued copying.

When school ended, I took my bag. I left the room and bumped into King.

"You going already?" I asked, smiling. He nodded, sort of blushing.

"Alright," I waved and he waved back walking faster than me.

"Hey Elizabeth." Someone called me from the back, I knew the voice so I froze.

"Yeah?" I looked back with a smile and saw Meliodas, he was walking towards me.

"I heard what you were rambling about when you were going to the classroom at lunch." He stated at me and I did too.

He walked past me, He heard.
