Third Person's Pov

Elizabeth woke up seeing that she was in a white room. The window was open and the breeze was calmly entering the room.

She looked around, "I got saved?" she Then saw two towels hung on the side.

"I wonder who saved me." Elizabeth saw food near her, there was a note.

"Eat up before it gets cold." She said out loud, She saw that the writer wasn't understandable. It was messy.

But all she could make out was an M and a huge MS RHEA.

She laughed and started to eat. She then realized she was still in her swim suit, she was cold.

Once she finished her food, she left the room after fixing the mess.

She went straight to take a hot bath. When she was done, she quickly went to her room. No one was there so she changed into a tank top and some shorts.

She then heard footprints like they were running, then the door suddenly opened with Meliodas panting. Both of them stared at each other while silence filled the air.

"Um.." Elizabeth broke the silence. Meliodas finally blinked, "Why... are you... here?" Elizabeth didnt know what to ask, He just came out of nowhere.

Meliodas stood up properly, " I just, Came to check up on you in the room you were in since They told me you drowned. Well, Ms Rhea forced me to. So when you weren't there, I figured you went here."

Forced, "I... See." Elizabeth paused, and couldn't help but make a fake smile.

"You know, we're going-" Meliodas was about to continue when Elizabeth sat on her bed.

"I'm tired, you guys go on ahead and have fun with everyone else."

Meliodas couldn't help but keep quiet. He couldn't say ANYTHING.

"Okay, good night." Meliodas closed the door. He stayed there though, he sighed.

"Why did I lie?" He mumbled, biting his lower lip. He left, and went out.

Meliodas went out the beach and saw Diane, King, Ban and Ms Rhea.

"Yo." He smiled, he didn't feel as happy and he didn't know why.

"Where's Elizabeth?" Ms Rhea asked, "Asleep in their room."

Ms. Rhea nodded, "here, since You guys wont tell your parents if you drink on my watch." She handed some beer and Ban immediately took it while King and Diane had slow sips of it.

Meliodas just kept drinking since he isn't like Ban that gets drunk easily.

"What happened~" Ban asked, already drunk. "Not much, just saw her asleep."

"Liar~" A drunk Ban and Ms Rhea stated.

"I can tell you're lying Kid. It's obvious."

"Suuure" Meliodas chuckled but couldn't help but to think of Elizabeth's smile a while back. It didn't feel right.

"I was just worried." Meliodas mumbled, Noticing he was at his 5th bottle.

"shoot." Meliodas mumbled, again. He was getting drunk and someone was going to take advantage of him and he knew it.

On the other side, Elizabeth didn't sleep. She sat up, staring at the wall.

"What's the point Elizabeth? He's practically being forced to do things to you. He 's not gonna do something that nice as check up on you willingly." Elizabeth talked to herself, it was a habit. A habit that was both comforting and sad. Sometimes these talks lead her to crying.

"Yeah, it was fun hanging with him, but maybe he was forced to do things like talk to me and such. Maybe Diane and the others practically give him orders and he's too nice to reject the ideas? I don't want to have High hopes, it hurts when I'm too high and I end up falling with no one catching me from below"

Silence comforted Elizabeth, her eyes were wet and she couldn't help but let some tears slip.

"He'll never care on purpose anyway.." she took the sheets and decided to really sleep.

"Tell me the truth, what Happened." Ms Rhea asked, everyone else had passed out except the two, Meliodas kept on drinking while Ms Rhea wasn't drunk at all. Allowing her students to drink beer when she drank Juice, she was one weird teacher.

"She just wanted to sleeeeeep~ she cut me off~ I just... I... was.. really worried when she wasn't in her room." Meliodas stopped acting like a crazy loon.

"Then... I lied.."

"Lied about what?"

"Looking for her.."

"Meliodas."

"I just.. want her to be okay and safe... I wanna... pro..tect hrr.." Meliodas passed out, Ms Rhea dragged everyone in their rooms that took an hour.

But before Ms Rhea left Meliodas' room, he mumbled some things.

"L...iza.." then muffled words, "i'm... shr.."

Ms Rhea didn't understand but she left and Went to Diane and the others' room. She saw Elizabeth's face strained with dry tears.

"Oh dear." Ms Rhea Sighed, "I have to talk to these Children."

"I have a lot of work to do."
