February 11th, 2009

It's been one month since an angel arrived at the premises of St.Judd's elementary school.

After observing her for quite a while, all that I can say about her is that:

1) She's quiet.

She doesn't like to be in with the crowd. Remember that time where I told you about Sally, Nelly and Ally? Well she did get their approval. So now instead of the three musketeers, it's another Mean Girls, except Daniella's like Lindsey Lohan but less redhead and more beauty.

Whenever they talked amongst themselves, Daniella would always be the one who was immersed in her own world. She'd usually look around the cafeteria or wherever they sat and not pay attention to whatever they were saying. I guess their conversations on gossip and boys were rather boring to her.

This though I found quite strange. I'm pretty sure it was apparent to them, even if they were quite airheads, that Daniella obviously didn't fit into their social standing AND what's a friend of yours if she's there to spectate....all the time?

So far, all I can really say is that they're using her or her looks for school publicity? I mean, more people did focus their attention on them as they walked down the halls with a trailing curly head girl behind them.

On average, they received about 20 stares from each grade. With Daniella included, they now got about 30 more. Maybe when people start to pay less attention to them, then they'll kick Danielle out. That seems like a "three musketeer" kind of thing to do.

2) Daniella didn't particular like the opposite sex.

Something about guys threw her off. That was me to girls except I didn't look that traumatized.

Whenever Ally would bring one of her blonde or brunette haired, good looking goons to their lunch table, Daniella would scooch herself towards one of the girls whenever they came around. I could see that they were clearly confused whenever she did that, but as usual they didn't care. I'm guessing too that they were kinda glad that she didn't take a liking to them because that'll mean they'll get all the precious goons' attention to themselves.

I still wanted to figure out though what the story behind her distaste towards guys were.

Maybe she grew up in a house where there were only girls so being around guys made her uncomfortable. Maybe her dad left her at a young age and every guy reminded her of her dad? I doubt it. It seemed pretty nosy of me to want to know the resson why but hey, I DID say I wanted to know everything about her. Sure it wasn't stated in that way but, that's what I meant.

3) She left school at an excruciatingly late time.

School for us ends at 3pm. I remembered staying back five or six times to finish up homework in the library. The thing is, she'd always be there when I left, sitting at the stairs outside of the school, staring out into the street. Then, when I would get into my mom's car to leave, I'd see her on the brink of getting up to go walk home. Let me remind you that those times are around 5:15, when the school library closes.

This was quite bizarre to me because usually anyone would love to get out of this institution as quickly as possible, yet she chooses to leave on her own accord. Maybe her mom arrives home at a really late time, so she decides to go home late so that when she gets home her mom is there?

I know, I know. My assumptions made no sense. They made as much sense as Johnnie's babbling.

On a different note though, I didn't get the time to talk to her yet. I realized that it's so much more work than before. Well....ok it's not a lot of work but it's....I'M JUST AFRAID ok?
