Yay! I actually started the story!

Kata's POV
The rising sun started to engulf my entire room. The bright luminescence carefully coloring my belongings, one by one.
As I turned my head, I can see the bare room being lit up. A soft clearing of rugged wood floors and scuffed off walls.
The light quietly transcends towards my positon; carefully dusting off the dark aroma in every corner.
It was then that a tight-lipped sigh escaped my lips. Quietly venturing off to the deep edges of the room.
The imaginary noise soon merged with oncoming silence. Discreetly integrating with the strong strokes of the morning warmth.
Slightly annoyed with the invading heat, I directed my gaze towards the disfigured cieling. Tracing over every bump, crease and curve.
"Today's the day."
Finally realizing what I was required to do, a low groan forced it's way out.
Aggravatingly, I braced the new day.
With my eyes still narrowed, I began to climb out my bed. I folded my thin covered blanket and push up my aged cot.
I hurriedly went to outside to use the molded faucet that's attached to the back of my "cabin".
As I open the cracked door, a sudden chill shoved it's way passed me. I shake off the feeling while continuing my direction.
As I take my first few steps out in terrain, I let my fingertips softly brush against the exterior of the house. Sinking in every crack, surfing against every knob and skidding against the narrow indents.
As I reach the end of the corner, I pop my head to see the faucet. Scurrying over to the water, I accidently splash a pool of mud.
"Happens." I quietly accepted.
With the faucet in reach, I turn the handle only to be greeted with a screech. Metal clashing against the hoary material surrounding it.
A few spurts of water leak out of the handle while the rest flow onto the floor. I cup my hands and dose my face, body and hair. Rapidly wiping off the dirt from the day before and the mud from a few moments ago.
I turn the faucet off while dashing back inside. Before I enter my room, a swift motion bypasses me. So much that it caused me to lose balance.
As I fall behind the doorframe, a blurry white spur catches my attention before it dissapears into the forest.
Lost in the moment, I slowly regained conscious. Moving in bits while staring at the blankness of the huddled trees.
My entire body now in the room, I walk towards my closet. Gazing at the subtle construction. I notice the small opening of where my clothes are, including the angrily stacked cement bricks surrounding it.
I reach for a long black sleeved shirt. A tight pair of pants that hug my thighs. Finally, green open toed shoes that reach the hem of my ankles.
