Mia sighed playing with the drink in her hand watching her best friend, Emma flirt with a guy. She didn't even want to be a club but she came for Emma. It was suppose to be a girls night out but Mia was left at the table looking at her phone sadly wishing Dylan was with her and Emma was left dancing with guys on the dance floor.
It's been two weeks since Mia left Dylan and she still felt the ache in her heart every time she went to sleep alone or he didn't answer her calls or texts. She knew it wasn't his fault, they were filming season five. But Mia wishes she just could stay with Dylan and be with him all the time.
She watched Emma dance with a guy who looked like he was in love with her best friend. Mia slurped her drink with a straw feeling herself began to feel tipsy. She didn't even remember ordering a drink, but Emma basically shoved them to her telling her to have fun.
Mia decided it was time to go and stumbled out of the table her heels clicking on the floor as she walked to Emma and the guy dancing. "Emma I'm gonna go, you should come with me!" Mia yelled and Emma rolled her eyes wanting to have fun not leave.
"I'm not ready to go yet, oh have you met Cole?" Emma giggled putting her hand on Coles chest and he smiled kissing her forehead. Mia forced a smile at the two and it made her think of her and Dylan and she felt tears well up in her eyes from missing him.
Mia didn't wait for Emma to talk and show more affection with Cole she run out the door, and getting into her car. She knew it was a bad idea because she had at least two drinks but she needed to get away. She needed Dylan.
Dylan I need you
you probably won't answer this because either working or sleeping but I miss you so damn much and my heart hurts and I can't breathe without you
I don't know what to do
Emma is with a guy and I can't watch them be cute anymore because it reminds me of us and I'm scared I don't know . I just want to go home
"Hello?" Mia whispered locking her car doors answering the phone not bothering to look at the caller ID, she knew who it was.
"Mia where are you?" Dylan's voice ran through the other line making Mia let out a sob with finally hearing his voice. She leaned her head back and let herself cry. "Baby girl please tell me where you are."
"I think I'm at this club, I don't know the name dyl." Mia replied looking out her window at the dark night and she saw two older men starring making her stomach feel uneasy.
"Are you alone?" Dylan spoke and she could hear on the other line doors slamming and then whispering who she guessed it was the cast.
"Yes, no kinda." Mia said waiting for Dylan to respond. Mia felt so stupid for having to do this to Dylan when he could of been sleeping or working but she needed to hear his voice. "I'm sorry Dylan I shouldn't have done this to you but I miss you so much."
"Baby girl I need you to listen to me carefully okay? I need you to get you're cute ass home now." Dylan spoke ignoring her "I miss you."
Dylan felt so angry but not at her, he was angry about the fact he couldn't be there with her protecting her. It was his fault she was alone and if anything happens to her he would never forgive himself. It didn't help when he heard her cry and he couldn't hold her.
Mia nodded understanding him. "Dylan I don't wanna hang up on you, you're voice is keeping me calm right now." Mia saw the two men coming closer to her and she felt her heart pick up in panic.
"Dylan there's two guys watching me." Mia rushed out making Dylan's eyes go wide on the other end of the phone hearing the fear in her voice.
"Tyler! Talk to Mia for a second," Mia heard him yell and then bring the phone back, "Mia I want you to leave right now, leave and go home. I'm not leaving you I'm here, you're okay baby."
"Okay," Mia started the car and backed out of the place and instantly started to feel a little calmer once she was safely away from the guys eyes.
"Hello my sweet Mia. Want to tell me why you have Dylan freaking out and packing a suitcase?" Tyler's voice ran out and Mia smiled.
"Hi Tyler. And I'm guessing he coming to see me because he's gonna yell at me?"
"I'm so gonna yell at you Mia!" She heard Dylan yell in the background and Tyler laughing.
"Hey princess can you please get home safe so Dylan will stop waking up the cast by him yelling?" Obrien said and then yelled a second later. "Ow! Dylan stop punching me!"
Mia laughed slightly and grabbed her phone and purse going inside her house locking the door behind her. She carefully and quietly made her way to her room without her mom waking up.
"Okay I'm home now." Mia said shutting the door and getting into bed.
"Thank god." Dylan said sighing and then he hung up on her.
"Are you kidding me?" Mia said glaring at her phone and about to call him back and ask why he hung up on her when she saw he wanted to FaceTime.
"You are so lucky I'm not there with you right now Mia." Dylan voice said once she answered. "Do you realize how dangerous that could of been? And why were you drinking in the first place without me or anyone to watch you?"
Mia nodded and looked at the screen to Dylan's concerned face making her feel guilty. "I'm sorry. I just it was gonna be a girls night till Emma went dancing and I didn't want to dance with anyone but you and I thought it would take my mind off you for a little bit but I realized nothing can take my mind off you, you're everywhere I look and everything to me."
Dylan's face softens and he rubs his neck and shakes his head. He couldn't be mad at Mia even if he tried. "Baby girl I'm going to be there when you wake up tomorrow. I can't stand being away from you and I know that makes me sound like a wimp but hearing that you were upset and in danger made me realize something."
"What?" Mia's breath hitched and she felt her heart pound when Dylan gave her a smile his blue eyes looking into the screen.
"I love you Mia. I love the way you look when you wake up in the morning. Love the way you smile and are the most nicest person I know and I love the way you fit perfectly in my arms like you're my other half I was waiting for all my life."
It was silent the only sound of Mia's breathing and the cars driving outside of her window. Mia laughed tears in her eyes and brought her hand up to the screen, Dylan doing the same. "I love you too."
"Go to sleep baby girl I'll see you when you wake up." Mia placed her phone down once they hung up and smiled into her pillow happily muttering, "my hero."
