LA~
Mika's POV:
I packed my things and left. I only bought the things I need; like clothes, my phone with its charger, some money and my car key. I didn't even take a suitcase with me.
It's 2:42 am. Almost everyone is asleep expext the ones who till make some party in whereever. Before I left my apartment, I gave my house key to the owner of the building, giving it her without a explaination which she deserves.
The sreets are empty, like my mind. If there is a machine that has the ability to see what people are thinking, everyone of you would see nothing but a big black hole. You wouldn't even see a little white dot. It's just black, like the world right now.
Maybe there is a few people who still know how to be happy but are those people enough? When mum and dad died, I didn't know what to do myself but my friends, and he helped to come out of that horrible place. Hell. If they had not been there, I would have still be there, sitting and waiting to get the courage to come out.
Why am I even thinking about that? I don't need that right now.
Looking at the clock I noticed that I am only a few minutes away from the airport.
"Excuse me Miss. Do you maybe have one ticket left?"
The woman looked at me like she saw a ghost. Don't tell me you're shocked because I am the daughter of the richest businessman here who is now dead.
"Oh my god. Ma'am Maika! What are you doing here?"
"What does it look like? I'm here to buy an elephant. Woman, I'm here to buy a ticket!"
"Sorry, ma'am... It looks like your day wasn't that great. "
"Just give me a ticket. I wanna go to LA."
"Just a second, ma'am Maika."
"Didn't I tell you to call me Mika, before?"
"Yes, you did. But my boss told me to call you by your real name."
"Alright. Just hurry up, please?"
"Why the hurry ma'am?"
"It's none of your business! Don't mind my problmes and do your job like other people here!"
"I'm sorry, ma'am."
----
It's been a while since I was here.
The view is amazing. The last time I was here was with my parents. We decided to go to Venice Beach, it was our favourite place to go when we come here. I didn't even realize that it's the first time that I come here alone. I used to go with my parents. Used.
