As I pick up the last box from my brother's truck he smiles at me, not in a happy way but in an "I'm gonna miss you" way. Which I confirmed when he walks over and hugs me. "I'm gonna miss you kiddo," he said sadly, "Can you carry that last box?".

"Yeah, I got it. I'll miss you too," I say unable to hug him back with the box in my hands.

"Call whenever, I'll pick up," he said as he lets go of me and starts to get in his truck for his 14-hour drive back to Los Angeles.

"Bye," I said sadly. I'm gonna miss him but as much as I love him and LA it's just not the place for me.

"Bye Kat, have fun but not too much fun," he replies chuckling, trying to lift up the mood.

"Sorry, not guaranteed," I jokingly laugh. He laughs before he swiftly gets into the car and drives away leaving me alone in the parking lot. I start my way to the girls' dorm rooms which, oh so conveniently, are on the other side of the campus. I walk past a retro, hipster looking girl seemingly taking a picture of a butterfly on a flower. She notices me and gives me a nervous smile. I smile back still walking to the dorms.

The campus isn't incredibly big but it's decent sized. I've always imagined HUGE campuses when I move schools. Which I've done a lot. The whole place isn't as loud as I expected it to be, being a private school and all. I'm honestly just glad I got in, as I said before, as much as I love LA I've always loved Oregon a tad bit more. Sorry, Los Angeles. It was so calm here and time seemed to fly by.

I reached the dorms after about a 3-minute walk. I walk in, walk to my floor, and then to my room (225). I place the box on my bed and start to unpack it. It's my electronics box aka the stuff I would DIE without. I take out my laptop, tablet, and other various things along with their cords. Everything else is already unpacked so my dorm is complete, thanks to the help of my brother and me insisting on placing my stuff where I want it as we unpack instead of unpacking later because I know it would take me forever and I would never get it done.

It takes me about 20 minutes to figure out where to put my electronics and it's already about 8:30 pm. I decided I should get my things ready for tomorrow, take a shower and get ready for bed. I quickly grab my backpack and put my notebooks in it along with my camera and a couple of other things. I plug my phone in and set my alarms for tomorrow, for every 10 minutes because I'm lazy and 10/10 not a morning person but it's my first official day so I have to be prepared and what not. I set my phone down after I realized I finished turning on my alarms and somehow ended up on Instagram.

I quickly got my shower supplies and my pajamas and headed to the showers that I saw were in the hallways during moving my shit in. I walk in and see no one there which kind of made me sad because the only people I interacted with today were my brother, that one hipster girl, and the Principal, Mr.Wells. On the bright side, I can get the shower done with without interruptions. I turn on the water and quickly wash my hair and body and then I shaved. Tmi? Probably but whatthefuckever.

I hear people come in and out, most likely getting ready for bed but I didn't care to listen in on their conversations. After my shower and what not I got out and brushed my teeth and hair and headed back to my dorm. On my way I saw a girl with blonde hair in a bun go into her dorm. She didn't seem to notice me though. I entered my room and put my shower supplies away and hung up my towel. I figured it would be rude to blow-dry my hair so I just left it. No biggie. As if I'm actually gonna go to sleep right now anyway.

I laid down on my bed and grabbed my phone. It was 9:10 pm. Yikes, I guess you could say that was late but I usually went to sleep at like 1 am. I scrolled through my Instagram, watched everyone's snapchat stories along with playing with the filters for a while, and checked on Neko Atsume. After a while, I looked at the time and it was 11:29 pm. Oops? I decided it would be best to go to sleep so I put on some music and did exactly that, sleep.
