Titans begin to surge through Wall Maria, destroying anything in their path, bloodied smiles plastered on their face.A mother tries to run from a Titan with her son and daughter, but is caught under the rubble of the house nearby. The young boy attempts to run back to help his mom, until a survey Corp, later revealed to be an old friend of the helpless woman, pulled the young ones back. A Titan lumbers towards its prey, its smile enough to give a grown man nightmares. The misshapen form pulls the woman out of the rubble, as the three others can only watch in horror.
Before the Titan could devour its meal, another Titan tackles it to the ground. A large plume of dust and debris rose from the unexpected attack from above. The new arrival can be seen through the cloud of dust holding something gingerly in its hands. The dust resides to reveal a Titan, but it's different from the others. Not only does it–or she, as it seems– seem uninterested in eating humans, it also resembles a human itself, if it weren't for the wings on its back and the horns on its head. Instead of the infamous smile and form of other Titans, the mother's savior had the figure of a 12-year old, just..well..a LOT bigger. And it's wearing...Clothes?!? Where can they get clothes for something so huge? O.0
Anyways, the large child places the woman gently on a mattress near the awestruck trio and flew off, probably to find more people to aid.
That day, the young boy made two promises:
1: to kill ALMOST all of the Titans, and
2: thank the Titan that saved his motherThe latter half of the promise didn't seem quite possible though. That is, until 6 years later.
