Chapter One "New Enemy New World"

"Hurry!" Midna demanded from her perch on top Wolf Link's back. "We need to find those mirror shards so we can go to the Twili Realm! Now move!" she shouted again. Link, even in his sacred beast form, scowled. He wanted to stop Zant as much as Midna and though she had grown to act with a nicer attitude towards him, she could still be so restless and controlling at times. She currently urged him through Hyrule Field and towards Castle Town where the Resistance waited in Telma's bar. If anyone had information of the whereabouts of the mirror, it would be them. As he received yet another kick to the side from his companion, he wondered why they couldn't have simply teleported to Castle Town instead. He would pass by some creatures, but he'd outrun them instead of attacking them; that usually ended in Midna becoming more enraged at his pace. Besides, they weren't worth his time.

Just as he thought the last creature was out of site; a portal from the Twili Realm appeared in the sky. But a red barrier didn't block his path, forcing him to battle whatever creatures the portal dropped. Something was off. "Whoa!" Midna said, tugging at his fur; her sign to let him know she wanted him to stop. "Hmm, what could this be?" she said, thinking out loud as usual. Link watched as a creature with black tentacles dropped from the portal. As it landed it opened its mouth, revealing a square gem matching the color of its mouth. "What is that?" Link thought. His hopes of Midna knowing were dashed when she stated, "Any idea what that thing is?" Of course he didn't know what it was. "Nevermind," she huffed,"We don't have time for this, let's go." Link didn't hesitate and ran off leaving whatever that was behind. Soon Castle Town came into view. But just as Midna prepared to turn Link human; another portal opened. A pink portal. Out tumbled a nig pink lion with two children. Wait what? "That's no Twilight monster," Midna assured, "It's too pink and fluffy." The boy on the lion looked in their direction and said hi. "Forget them, let's go already," Midna demanded. Wolf LInk ran into Castle Town knowing he'd have to wait for his transformation. But in the meantime, the citizens were in for a little scare.

"Hey Connie you ready for our jam session?" Steven asked his friend. "You bet Steven," she replied before adding, "Maybe this time there won't be any seagulls to eat your snack." Steven chuckled remembering his fearfull encounter with the seagull kind but they were at the barn this time; less chance of seagulls hopefully. "Don't worry," he said, "We can take 'em because we're Jam Buds!" They both laughed. "Okay okay let's get started," Connie started playing and Steven joined in and started off the singing. "The sky is blue, the sun feels fine Together as we feel the breeze Come on and share this jam with me." Then Connie started, "Hold the jelly if you will And no butter please Come on and share this jam with me I'll do my best to give this jam the sweetness it deser-er-er-erves." "And I'l keep it fresh I'm jammin' on these tasty preserves." "Ingredients in harmony we mix together perfectly come on and share this jam with me." They stopped and Steven reached a jar of jam. Right before he grabbed it, Lion suddenly came out of nowhere landing between them. "Aw Lion what was that for? Why is it that I can never eat my jam snack without something interrupting me?" Lion looked at him and simply rolled over onto his back. "No belly rubs this time!" Lion stood up and snatched Steven's cheeseburger backpack and ran off. "Hey get back here!" Steven and Connie chased after him before they grabbed it and tugged it away from. "Bad Lion," Steven scolded. Suddenly the ground rumbled as a tentacle shot out of the ground where they were recently sitting! "The Slinker!" Steven shouted. "The what?!" Connie asked. A portal made of black squares appeared and before they could react, it had the taken the Slinker away. Lion dropped down and Steven climbed on. "Should we tell the gems?" Connie asked as Steven helped her on. He didn't get to answer as Lion roared a portal and jumped into; he kept roaring and roaring creating more and more portals as they went faster and faster. Peridot stood watching from the barn as they disappeared and spoke into her new tape recorder, "Steven and his friend 'Connie' just left on the furry pink feline; I'm debating wether or not this concerns the other gems."

Finally Steven, Connie, and Lion went through the last portal; they were in a large field. Steven fell into Lion's mane for a moment from the sudden change in speed. "Steven, where are we? Everything looks, different in a way." Steven sat up. Sure enough, things looked different; the trees the flowers, it all looked differently built. There was a castle not too far from them. Steven spotted a wolf lookinf at him with the strangest creature on its back. "Hi," he said to it. It ran off towards the castle. "Steven look!" Connie was pointing at a portal similar to the one the Slinker went through. "We might be in another deminsion," she said. "Really? That's so cool," Steven's eyes lit up. "We should ask around; see if anyone has seen that creature. Lion immediatly started walking before they ended up near a building in an alleyway. "In here?" Connie asked. Lion walked past them and went in. There were shouts of gasps as the two children went in and saw a lady behind a bar petting the pink lion completely unafraid. "Is this yours sweetie?" she asked. "Yeah." A group of people stood around a table; each dressed differently. "Hi, my name's Steven." He pointed to Connie and then Lion. "This is Connie and that's Lion." Each person at the table just looked at them for a moment. "We're kinda looking for this thing called the Slinker, it has black tentacles and it slinks around and its really sneaky and it went into this litttle black squared portal thing and we were wondering if any of you had maybe seen it." The young man dressed in green nodded, "I have."

(sorry about the zero updates but I decided to just redo this chapter and continue without my friend since we keep forgetting about it but updates will come quickly now but not next week as I will on vacation so thank you to all who were so patient with me and yes the text all looks small but I had used something else blah blah blah but sorry it will look better later)
