The answer to the riddle was :
A Snail!
A lot of people said ruler as their answer, because it's 12 inches? Which is a foot?
Um, I'm from Canada for those of you who didn't know, and we don't use inches so I wouldn't know. Also, rulers can come in different sizes.
30cm, 100cm, etc . . .
So that's why I didn't choose that as the answer.
