2 160 Hours With Queen Lia

Preface

Lia's POV

My lips formed into a smile when I opened the door of our Mercedes Benz and as my black Valentino stilettos made its first step in De La Soledad University. I fixed my Ray Ban aviators before getting my beloved Prada bag off our car, too.

I smirked when I heard Soledarians gossip about their queen bee. I am wearing a simple black pencil cut dress paired with my V-stilettos and my avs. My hair is formed in a crown braid and its naturally curled tips effortlessly fall perfectly over my shoulders, while my white Prada bag is dangling on my arm. My make up is done perfectly from my chinky eyes down to my cupid's bow-shaped lips. That's campus queen Lian Aragon for you.

I passed by the basketball court as I sashayed my way to the student council's office for my meeting.

I settled my things at the student president's corner and greeted some of my fellow SC members.

"Good afternoon, Lia. May gusto kang kainin? Hanggang mamaya pa tayo dito. Balita ko kasi magsasara ng maaga ang cafeteria ngayon," asked Hannah, my secretary.

I shook my head, "No, thank you, Hannah."

She smiled at me before she left.

I felt my tummy rumble, as if it's complaining why I didn't take Hannah's offer, but oh well. If this is the price for me to maintain my figure then so be it.

I looked at the piles of papers on top of my desk before giving out a deep sigh.

This is gonna be a long day for you, Lia.

Zeus' POV

Damn, I missed.

Blame it on your injured hand, Zeus Alcantara.

Seven hours straight na kaming nagte-training dito dahil next week na ang championship. And get this, wala pa kaming break. Kung meron man, five minutes na ang pinakamatagal.

Sobrang sakit na ng katawan ko, dumagdag pa 'tong kamay ko na hindi maikilos nang maayos dahil sa bali nito.

I wish this would be okay na sa championship.

Tumigil kami sa paglalaro nang marinig namin ang pito ni coach at naghuddle sa may gitna ng court, kung nasaan siya.

"Your performance is improving, great job. But hindi pa rin pang championship game ang nakikita ko sa inyo. You're half way there, team. I'm giving you a two-hour break for that. Pagkatapos, diretso training na ulit tayo hanggang seven pm. You may go."

Oh yes, finally!

Sabay-sabay kaming pumunta sa cafe as a team. Since kami na lang rin ang madalas na magkakasama, kami na rin ang magkakabarkada.

The boys are busy blabbering about girls and shits while I'm busy eating my pizza. Bahala sila, basta ako, I'm hungry.

"How about you Zeus? Got flings?" Ani Ivan at humalakhak naman sila.

I swallowed my pizza before fishing my phone in my pocket and showing them my latest texts.

"Damn, King," anila at nagtawanan. Ngumisi lang ako

Mas nagtawanan naman ang mga boys nang pindutin ni Ivan ang isa sa mga pangalan doon at nakita 'yong ni-send sa akin nung batchmate namin na nudes at nakipag-high five pa sa akin ang iba.

This is our normal.

Mula sa mga flings ay napunta na kung saan-saan ang topic, hindi na ako makasunod.

"Vice! They need you daw sa SCO."

Lumingon ako kay Hannah na tumatakbo na ngayon papunta sa direksyon ko.

And here I thought I'd have my 2-hour break for resting.

Tumango ako sa kanya at sumama papunta sa student council's office.

Naabutan kong nasa meeting room ang treasurer at iba pang committee heads. Doon pumasok si Hannah kaya naman sumunod ako sa kanya.

Mike, our treasurer, stood up and prepared a powerpoint presentation.

Sabi naman nila hindi ito aabot ng thirty minutes kaya naman pumayag na ako.

Nang ipinakita ang slide ng fund ng SC para sa mga projects ay nagulat ako sa baba nito.

"We need fund raising activities kung gusto nating maging memorable ang last year natin sa De La Soledad," the activities committee head said.

"Bakit nga pala wala ang president dito? Shouldn't she be the one deciding for this?" I asked. Coach will kill me for this.

"Ah, she's very busy, Zeus. Nakita mo na ba yung mga papel na nakatambak sa desk niya? She even asked me kanina to deliver some of your finished proposals para naman daw masimulan na niya yung pag-eedit ng write ups ng ginawa mo. But then wala ka pang natatapos so she just asked me to get half of your papers para siya na ang gumawa at magtapos nun," sabi ni Ahlia, my secretary.

Damn those paperworks.

I glanced at my wrist watch at nakita kong may one hour pa naman ako.

"Finish the meeting yourselves. Hannah, Ahlia, do the minutes for this meeting and ire-review ko na lang yun. Just discuss the details and your proposals. Ako na bahala," sabi ko at dumeretso na sa president's corner.

Naabutan kong walang tao sa corner ni pres at may nakadikit na sticky note sa desk niya.

"Out to get coffee + Dean is looking for me. Gosh, I'm tired. If Zeus comes tell him I did half of his work na. He has to pay me for that. Thanks, Hannah! - Lia (:"

Nakita kong sobrang kapal pa ng natitirang paperworks sa desk niya kahit ang dami na niyang natapos. I got my cellphone and I started typing.

To: Ivan

Ivan, tell coach I'll be late. Emergency sa Student Council's Office.

Dumeretso na ako sa vice president's corner at nakita kong konti na lang ang natirang mga papel sa desk ko kumpara nung iniwan ko 'to kahapon.

Mabilis akong nagsimula sa paggagawa ng mga 'to. Kahit na medyo masakit pa ang kamay ko ay tuloy-tuloy lang ako sa pagsusulat.

Pipirma na dapat ako nang makareceive ako ng text mula kay Ivan.
