Chapter 2: Maggie

Linda the new girl awakens from her sleep. Linda goes to the kitchen and makes breakfast for the children. Alice goes to the kitchen and makes lime tea for her and Linda. Linda asks Alice about Maggie's life story. Alice takes Linda outside from the Orphanage where no one can hear them. Alice's tells Linda about Maggie's life story.

The year took place in 1919 in Los Angeles California. Maggie Anderson was a wealthy young woman living in The City of Angels. Maggie was engaged to James Patrick March the hotel owner. Maggie always wanted to get married and have children for she can start a family. A month later, Maggie got Married to James, Maggie's dream was fulfilled but it was not yet fulfilled because she doesn't have a baby yet. So Maggie gets pregnant to James's baby. Maggie took care of the baby in her stomach for 9 months. 9 months later Maggie was taking a nap when suddenly Maggie's water broke and James had to take Maggie to the hospital. Maggie was taken to the operating room, the Doctor told Maggie to push, Maggie was pushing and pushing until the baby came out, Maggie passed out.

Few days later, Maggie awakens from her sleep and saw the doctor standing beside her, Maggie asked the doctor "where's the baby?" The doctor told Maggie some bad news about the baby. the doctor said that the baby didn't survive the labor. So that means that she can't have any children. Maggie was crying with agony because her dreams weren't fulfilled. So Maggie stayed at her room weeping for many days. James would sneak out from his room to go see his mistress, Maggie knew that James was cheating on her. So Maggie grabbed a gun and went inside James honeymoon suite, Maggie was shocked to see James having sexual intercourse with another woman. Maggie shoots the woman's heart, Maggie pointed the gun at James and told him "we could of had a future." So Maggie shot James leg and ran away to Pennsylvania where James can't find her.

For many years, Maggie worked as a nurse in a nursing home. Everyday Maggie would look at the children visiting their grandparents, Maggie would always tell herself that she would of have a family someday, but Maggie knew that's never gonna happen. So Maggie walked up to the roof from the nursing home and took out a knife and slit her wrist. Suddenly Maggie saw a beautiful woman flying towards Her. The beautiful woman said "Maggie, it's not your time, you must do what makes you happy." Maggie replied "I know what I need to do." Maggie asked the lady about her name, the lady replied "I'm the Angel of death and I'll be back soon for you, my darling." So the Angel of death disappeared and was never to be seen again.

Maggie worked hard and saved her money for she can open her own orphanage, the end of Maggie's story. Linda was shocked to hear about Maggie's life story, Alice and Linda went inside the orphanage. Suddenly a strange person came out of the bushes, the strange person was Maggie. Maggie was happy that somebody cares about her and that somebody is Alice. Maggie went inside the orphanage and gave Alice a big friendly hug, Alice was surprised that Maggie was a little nicer. The end.
