Chapter 38-A Little Date

Mandy's POV

We walked in the ice cream shop holding hands and my stomach fluttered with joy. This was the life. The one I dreamed of as a teenger. A life of joy. Dan kissed my cheek. I looked at him and smiled. We ordered our ice cream. "I'm going to the bathroom." "Same" He said. When we were about to part ways into seperate bathrooms,Dan grabbed my hand and pushed me in the girl's bathroom. He grinned at me. "Dan what the hell?" I said. "Quit looking at me like that!" I said and playfully pushed him as he kept grinning. He giggled and kissed me. My eyes widened and I felt weird. Was this his idea of romantic? Kissing in a...bathroom? He pulled away from the kiss. "Dan,what the fu-" "I didn't pull you in here to make out Mandy." He said and grinned again. "Awh..I was hoping we could." I mumbled and got closer to him. He smiled at me and then I said,"I'm joking,what do you need?" He looked a tiny bit disappointed and then grinned again. "Life is dull. It can't be dull. We're gonna have some fun." He said and grinned even harder. I smiled. He grabbed toilet paper and threw it everywhere,decorating the room like streamers. I grabbed some and wrapped it around his neck. He giggled and I tugged it and I softly kissed him. We smiled at eachother. He created a bunch of bubbles with soap and water and threw it everywhere. He threw some at me and I threw some at him and we giggled. We heard a knock. "Hello? Is everything ok? We are hearing alot of noise." Dan and I looked at eachother and he tried not to laugh. "Yes,I'm trying to poop here!" I yelled. "Ok then.." The employee said and we heard him walk away. We burst out laughing. I grabbed his hand and ran out of the bathroom still having bubbles on us. "Hey! Are our ice cream here?" He asked as we ran to the counter,giggling and holding hands. "Yes,sir that'll be $10.00." He looked at me. I paid for it and we grabbed the ice cream. We had to stop holding hands to hold our ice cream and Cat and Phil's ice cream too. We finished eating ours and started holding hands again. We walked around the same park we walked around when we learned that Phil was in the hospital. I smiled and gazed at Dan. Thinking of everything. "What?" He said. "Nothing. Just thinking." I replied. "Of what?" "Us" "Like?" I shrugged. "Well?" "I.." The words were caught in my throat. I don't know. He won't be here to stay,why say it? "Mandy?" "I..l-lo-" He cuts me off and kisses me. "I love you too." He whispered. I smiled and kissed him again. I sighed. He frowned and asked,"What's wrong?" "Dan. We didn't stay together for a reason. You'll be gone,and I can't keep getting my heart broken." "I know Mandy,but we can make this work." "How?" "We can skype,text,call,facetime,anything. I love you Mandy,please don't let this go." I sighed and said,"Ok. We'll try. But will you tell your subscribers?" "Yes. Actually,how about we film a video now?" "In the afternoon,in a park?" I said. "Yup,I have a vlogging camera for when I would vlog here in L.A." He said and smiled. "Ok" I said and smiled. We sat in the grass in an area of the park and his camera leaned against the bench's legs. "Hey internet." He said and smiled. "Ok so today I am here with a friend of mine,Mandy. Well a.." He paused. "My girlfriend." He said and smiled. I waved,full of the awkwardness I hold. We giggled at my awkwardness. "So yeah,I just wanted to make a quick little video to say that,and I know that you amazing danosaurs will accept her and show her the talented and odd place that is our fandom!" He said and smiled. "Wanna do a sexy end screen dance?" I looked down,glancing at my shorts. I don't know if I want to show my fat thighs. "Mandy,thigh size don't matter,you're beautiful." He said and kissed me. I nodded and smiled. He sat the camera on the bench. "Finally the sexy end screen has sexy in here." He said and pointed at me. I giggled and playfully punched him. He laughed and said,"If you want to see more horrific videos,subscribe and click on my crotch or Mandy's va-" "Dan!" I said. He giggled and stopped the camera. The people walking in the park gave us weird looks. We stared at them and laughed. "Must think we're pyschopaths now." I said. He laughed. "Wanna head back to the hospital before the ice cream melts completely?" "Sure" I said. Our fingers interlocked and we walked back to the hospital.
