Chapter 40-Forgiving A Demon?

Holly's POV

"Get the fuck away from me!" I yelled. "No" He said pulling my arm. "Stop!" "Tell me who he is!" He said grabbing my arm. "Why do you want to know?" I yelled. "Because I fucking care!" "Why?" I yelled back. "Because I fucking love you that's why!" He yelled back. His hand slipped away from my arm. I looked at him and didn't speak. "I-I" I stutter. "I'm sorry" He said and grabbed his keys and left,slamming the door behind him before I could pull him back. "Mike..." I whisper. "Guess he got tired of your bullshit Holly." Jack said and smirked. "Fuck you" I said and walked towards him. "Leave us alone." I snarled in his face. "Why should I?" "What the hell do you want?" I said. "I want Mandy back.  "Why?" I said loudly. "Because-" "So you can use her again?" "No,I've changed." "No you haven't! You are still hurting us! Why do you really want her?" I yelled. "Because...I need her." "For what?" I yelled. "I want to say sorry." He said,actually sounding sorry. He put his head down and tears streamed down his face. "Why should I trust you?" I said angrily. "All you've done is hurt her." I said. "Exactly. I need to make it up to her." "Saying sorry won't." "What will?" "Leaving her alone." "No,I can't. I have a few things to say before I do then. Call her." "You are never getting her back." "Why?" "She's already dating someone else." I replied grabbing my phone. His eyes looked sad. Tears streamed down his face. His eyes said,"I'm sorry." He sat against the wall,his face buried in his hands. "Hello?" I heard Mandy's voice say. "Jack is here." There was a pause. "Why?" She simply said. "He wants you here. Asap." I said. She sighed and said,"Ok"

*10 minutes later*

"What the hell do you want?" She said furiously. Woah,I've never seen her mad like this in a while. She stopped in her tracks when she said Jack depressed against the wall,curled up in a ball. She sat next to him. "Now you know how it feels." She snarled. My eyes widened. "I-I-I'm s-s-sorry." He stuttered. She stared at him. "Why did you do it?" She asked. We knew what she meant. Why would he abuse her and put her through so much pain. "I-I just wanted to be loved." He said and cried. "You can't do that by hurting people Jack." She said like a teacher explaining it to a student. "Uncurl Jack." She said. He layed against the wall. She did the most unpredictable thing yet. She reached forward.

Mandy's POV

I reached to him. Never did I think this would happen. I wrapped my arms around him and hugged him tightly. "W-why are you h-hugging me?" He stuttered. "Because I know how it feels to need a hug. Especially after not having one for so long." I whispered as tears streamed down my face. He cried and hugged me back. "I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry." He said. "Even if I need to say it a million times I will. I'm sorry." He said. "It's ok now." I said. "I hate myself for everything. How could I ever hurt you? I'm sorry. I'm so so sorry. I love you Mandy. I really do. I can never forgive myself,so I don't expect you too either. I'm so sorry. I love you,really." He said and cried even harder. "It's ok. I promise it's ok" I said and wiped the tears from his eyes and cheeks. "It's ok now." I said. "I-I...I was the one who accused Ryan. I'm sorry,I-" He stuttered and cried again. "Shh,I know. You need to apologize to him not me. You've already apologized to me." "How can I apologize to him?" "We're bringing him to L.A. since he's gotten out of jail." Holly said. "You can make it up to him then." I said. "Ok" He said. "I have one last thing though..." Jack said. He pulled up his sleeve to reveal cuts. Old and new. I looked at them flashbacks coming back.

*flash back*

"I'm sorry.." He said as he reveals his cuts. "Why?" I asked tears streaming down my face. All this happened before his mom left him and his dad. Before he came abusive. "My dad is horrible,I'm worthless,all the bullies are right. You know why Mandy." He said looking down. "Never hurt yourself again. Please. For me. I love you." I said kissing him,not knowing he would become abusive himself.

*flashback finished*

This time I didn't ask why. I knew why. I repeated the words before,only without the I love you. "Never hurt yourself again. Please. For me." I said. "M-Mandy...are you...dating someone?" He asked quietly. "Yeah..." I said. "Oh..." "Jack you are going to find someone who is meant for you. Clearly we aren't meant for eachother." I said. He nodded.

*ding*

I checked my phone.

Message from:Dan <3

Dan:You ok?

Me;Yeah

Dan:What happened?

Me:It's a long story...

"I should be leaving.." Jack said. "Remember if you need anything just come here." I said and hugged him. He nodded and left the apartment,looking at me one last time,his eyes filled with a new hope that we could be friends again.
