Proverbs 3
.5Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.6In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
Trust such a thing that many say they have in God but it couldn't be further from the truth. We trust drivers to drive us to various destinations hence we board their vehicles but we do not trust God, We trust pilots to fly us to various destinations hence we board their planes but we do not trust God, We trust employers to put our salaries in our bank account at the end of every month hence we do our work to the best of our ability but we do not trust God.
Why is it so??
Well to begin with us human beings have the tendency to depend on man for the thing we want than depend on God for at times it seems like God is not on time but dear friend do not be mistaken. God may not give you want you want when you want it but he will provide you with what you need when you need it.
KJV Romans 8
28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
All things work together for good to them that love God ; to love God is to know him and to know him is to trust him if we know him then we can trust that we can depend on him.
To trust God means to believe in him to believe is not just mere belief but with belief comes action and with that statement comes a story of a town which had a drought and the citizens pray that there may be rain and they all gathered in a particular area to wait for rain because they said they believe but only one little girl brought her unbrella because she believed and she acted on her belief.
To trust in God mean to surrender unconditional to the Lord to believe that he is able to succor you in every temptation, trial and tribulation. To go to him first at all times before going to anybody else.
You see dear friend Jesus is patiently waiting for you to wholly trust him and if you wholly trust him you will see a difference in your life.
