Asriel woke up middle of the night in a cold sweat. He was scared that chara was gonna return. He pulled himself up and looked at the wall shivering in fear. This was genuine fear. He was scared for his life. And for the life of his girlfriend.

"Azzy...?"
Frisk looked at him confused.
"Is anything wrong..."
She asked worried for her boyfriend.
"N-nothing...j-just a dream..."
He stuttered more then usual.
"Azzy... it's okay.."

He looked at her and started to cry. He was scared to lose her. The sight of her face threw him off the edge. He was angry, confused, and sad all at the same time. Just then he heard a call in the distance

"....you..were..always...a..cry....baby... brother"

He looked around for her. he was enraged he wanted to rip her to pieces. He kept feeling him self break more and more until.

"CHARA! NOO GET AWAY FROM HER SHE NOT YOURS ANYMORE!"
He screamed out.
"Azzy..."
Frisk felt asriels soul fill with determination.

Asriel looked at the corner of the room he seemed to be looking at something frisk could not see. Asriel was always more in tune to his soul then frisk was. Toriel taught her how to resonate her soul like a monster can. She closed her eyes and took a deep breath. She focused on her own heart first and felt it's pulse then she widened her view. She felt three souls in the room. Asriels, her own, and a faint black soul at the corner where asriel was staring. She opened her eyes and saw it. Chara in the corner laughing at asriel. Frisk looked at those red eyes and all the bad memories started flooding back.

"NOOO NO MORE NO MORE"
Frisk screamed out in horror
"Ah....So...sHe...REmEmBERS me"
Chara said smiling.
"GET OUT OF HERE!"
Asriel yelled at her.

Just then a crash came through the door.

"WHATS GOING ON..."
yelled sans before noticing chara in the corner.
"So... youre back kiddo.."
Sans said as a twisted grin crept on his face and his eye started to glow blue.

Sans got his hands ready for an attack before charas soul started to fade.

"I'll bE BAcK FoR TheM.."
She promised as her presents fled the room.
"Good thing she gone this almost went bad"
Said sans smiling relieved.

Asriel ran to frisk holding her. Her body shook at his touch but she hugged him tightly. He held her so tightly he didn't want anything to hurt her. Sans watched and sat next to the both of them and placed his hand on frisks back.  Frisk felt this and jumped into his arms and started crying out.

"Sans I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry,"
She continued to say that crying her heart out.
"I forgive you kiddo.... it's ok those were bad times but in the end were all still here."

She cried more when he said that. She then got up and hugged asriel until she fell back asleep in his arms. He couldn't go back to sleep though he sat there held frisk tightly the rest of the night.
