Felix POV

*2 weeks later*

I fell weakly to me knees as I stared at Stephanos grave. The funeral was almost impossible to go to. I did see Stephano in his coffin...it was terrible. Me and Marzia had to dress him up on clothes that we wanted him to be buried in. Instead of choosing something simple like a nightgown, we just put him in regular clothes. When they carried the coffin into the hole, I just imagined him in there.

The cold wind coming from the beach shook me out of the thoughts. Slowly, I stood up and walked to the edge of the cliff. Below me, was a 50 foot drop. Then there was big, blue waves. Crashing agaist each other. Marrzia a I decided for him to get buried here because every summer, we came here with him.

I would always take him paddling in the shallows, while Marzia sat close by, looking after Puga-Chan. Those days in summer where the best. He always had so much fun. Especially when we took him to the beach shop. You know, those shops which sold inflatable toys and spades. He really wanted on of those boats that you could take quite far out. After blowing it up, he sat on it and I took him about 5 meters out. The only reason I stopped doing that was because one time, he fell out of the boat and under water. And well...I couldn't swim underwater. Luckily, Stephano grabbed my leg and I managed to haul him up.

A tear slid down my face as I remembered. That was only one year ago. This year, we did go again, but he was too scared to go on his boat. We spent most of that summer making massive sandcastles. Also, Mariza got stung by a jellyfish and had to go to the doctors. That's why we went home early. She was in too much pain to do stuff. It didn't help that Stephano got motion sick on the way home and threw up EVERYWHERE. I remember shouting at him at the service station...and hitting him. It was only a smack on the arm...if only I could go back to that moment...Tell him that's it's okay. It's not his fault that he was sick.

"Felix?"'I turned around. Mariza stood there, wind blowing in her face. "Remember that time...you shouted at him. We where coming home from here earlier than usual and he was motion sick..." More tears.

"Y-yea...I was just thinking about it." I replied. Sighing, she leaned against my shoulder and stared out to sea. I think that's when the reality sunk in. Stephano was dead. We would never have another family holiday here again. We wouldn't become a family again.
