It had been a month since Jasper moved in with the boys. They were the closest thing she had to family because her parents died in a car crash two years ago, her best friend committed suicide, and her and her boyfriend broke up.
Jasper lay in her and Charlie's shared bed. She was staring up at the ceiling tearing up. "Hey Jasper I'm headed to the studio, um do you need a ride to work?" Charlie said as he came into the room. Jasper sniffled befriend wiping her eyes and nose really quickly. "Uh yeah. I'll get dressed." She said her voice still a little shaky. "J are you ok?" Charlie said walking fully into the room and closing the door and walking to the hunched over girl. "Yeah I'm fine charlie, it's just that I was just thinking about this past month. And how lucky I am." Charlie put his arm around the girl. "Yeah..? And how's that." He asked soothingly rubbing circles on the girls back. "I'm lucky to have met you and made that rash decision to live with my ex's dealer. I'm lucky to have you guys as my family, I couldn't have asked for anything better. I finally have a nice job, I'm happy. I may not have found a house yet, but I'm still happy." Jasper looked at Charlie who smiled and hugged Jasper while she cried into his shoulder. It wasn't sad tears they were tears of joy, and happiness. "I'm glad your living with us, and I'm glad we are as close as we are." Charlie said before letting go. "Now get dressed your 10 minutes late already." Charlie said laughing as he walked out the door and down his steps." Jasper rushed to get dressed. After she got dressed she ran down to meet Charlie in his car. "Where you going in such a hurry?" JDog asked as Jasper ran by. "Work." She yelled as she ran by. "I'm really late. Hey but your still taking me to that horror movie tonight right?" She yelled as she hit the steps. "Yeah! Be ready around 5:30" JDog yelled before going to his room.
Jasper go in the car and Charlie sped off. "So I hear you and j are going on a date." Charlie said sound a little hurt. "It's not a date, he's taking me to that horror movie in the cemetery." Charlie turned and faced Jasper at the red light. "So it's a date, he takes all the girls he likes to that." Charlie said before taking off again. "I doubt he likes me. How could anyone." Jasper said before laughing her insult to herself off. "Because your fucking hot, and amazingly talented, and adorable, and smart, and would make any guy happy." Charlie said angry at what she had said about herself. "Th-thank you." Jasper's face was bright red.  "Well we are here. I'm actually going to stay and have a drink or two." Charlie said turning the keys and getting out. "Lemme guess, Jin and tonic then a beer?" Jasper said putting her half apron that waiters and bar tenders wear on. "You know me so well." He said putting his arm around her waist and walking in. I do don't I ?
