"Leave me alone." I grumble as Tyler annoyingly pokes me. I don't why he is, but I'm growing irratible by the moment. Tyler smiles, "why? Gonna crack under the pressure?" He teases. I shoot a glare at him, "no if you don't then I will have to hurt you."
His eyebrows shoot up in questioning. The last person who tested me went home with a black eye, just saying. Tyler backs away from my threat. I sigh, placing my hands on my face. The gang decided to visit me at my house. My mom - who was more then happy for me to have friends over- greeted everyone happily.
We sat in my living room, while everyone was just socializing on their phones. Why did they come here if they wasn't even going to talk to me?
"Why are you all here?" I finally ask. Chase smirks, "we was bored." He simply states. I sigh and roll my eyes, "could you have atleast texted me before you came?" I ask. He shrugs.
"So what are we going to do? Just sit and play on our phones?" I say. Chase's bored expression slowly turns into a smirk. "Games! Do you have games?" He askes. I stare at my collection of games for my xbox. "Maybe." I challenge. The guys perk up.
I pull out Call of Duty with a smirk. "Oh come on, that's too easy Mel." Chase says. I remember back when me and my brother, yes brother, played together. Now he is in college and is living with his fiancé. "Wanna bet?" I say. "You're on."
•••
"I can't believe this." Chase groans, plopping his controller down on the coffee table. Joey chuckles, "she beat your butt." He says. Chase glares at me, "how?" He simply says. "I had a brother." I state. He shakes his head getting up, "that's no fair." He pouts. "So sorry." I sarcastically say. He glares at me again, and I return a laugh.
The guys stare at us all smiling. "Who's up for another round?" I say. The guys hold their hands up in surrender, "I don't want beat to a pulp." Nick laughs.
"The first time chase has ever been beaten, by a girl." Tyler holds back a laugh. "You guys are jerks." Chase adorably mumbles. I shrug, "so what now?" I say. Chase smirks, "how about another game?" He says. "Sure pick it out." I reply. Chase shakes his head, "no, a game of mine."
I tilr my head in consideration. This could either be fun, or result in something bad. I do like challenges don't I? "Sure." I agree. Chase stands up with a challenging smile. "Alright get your car."
•••
"No way!" I state rolling down my car window. "Why not?" Chase replies rumbling his engine to his mustang. "It's dangerous!" I reply. "Backing out huh?" He says with please in his voice. I bite my lip, now I can't lose my title of challenges now. "Fine." I say.
Chase has told me to meet him in this empty parking lot (thank god) to race him. It was a abandoned warehouse parking lot so it's rather large. Maybe a football feild length. Tyler stands in front of us, "on your mark, three, two, one!" He runs out. I press my foot to the peddle feeling the jolt of speed. I watch as Chase whips past me, and I begin to accelerate.
In a matter of seconds I am beside Chase. I'm not going to lie, but I didn't know my car could run this fast. I ease the gas a little more before zooming past Chase. Nick and Joey stood at the "finish line" they created. As I was almost to it Chase zooms past me and reaches the finish line. I pout stepping out of my car. "That's not fair! You've probably done this before." I state. Chase laughs, "sorry sweetie, but I won fair and square." He says high fiving the guys.
I rolled my eyes, "fine. We're even now." Chase walks over to me and stares at me smirking. "Oh yes." He smugly says. He places a finger on my nose playfully. "Shut up." I grumble.
"I've never lost a race." He says crossing his arms. The guys appear behind him nodding in response, "wait you do this often?" I say. He nods, "Gosh, that's dangerous." I simply say.
He's such a cliche bad boy.
