Maddie's POV
I'm so excited for my date with Diggie. Liv is helping me get ready. He said to meet him on the beach at 11:00 and to wear a bathing suit. I don't get why Liv wants to do my hair but I let her. "Liv it's 10:57 I have to go." I say. "Ok. Don't come off as crazy bye." She says. I laugh a little and run out of the house. I run downstairs and to the beach. Someone puts their hands over my eyes. "Guess who?" Diggie asks. "Diggie." I say and take his hands away. He smiles and hugs me. I hug back. "Want to go on a walk?" He asks. I nod and take off my shoes. We leave them by the stairs to my house and start walking. We walk along the water. "You did great at that competition." He says. "Thanks." I say. It's silent for a minute. "How come you don't compete. You're really good." I say. "I'm a competitive guy and all but surfing competitions just aren't my thing. I'm not good enough." He says. "Not true." I say. He smiles and then takes my hand making me blush. He intertwines our fingers together making me blush harder and I look down. We keep walking and playfully swing our arms. After a long walk we go back up towards my house. "Let's go get something to eat ok?" Diggie asks. "Ok." I say. He smiles and then we walk to a little sandwich place. "This was really fun." I say. "Yeah. Thanks." I say. "We should hang out another time." He says. I nod and we finish eating.
Diggie's POV
Ok that's it I've got to figure out a way to ask Maddie to be my girlfriend, then it just hit me. I'll go to a store to customize a teddy bear and I'll give it to her. I look at the time and it's 1:00 in the morning so I decide to go to sleep and think about tomorrow. End of POV
