Honestly, I really didn't want to go to this date with this jerk but well.. here I was, sitting in a diner, with him. He wore casual clothes which really looked good on him. I think good was an understatement if girls three tables away from us were drooling as they were checking him out as soon as we came in from the entrance.

Even the waitress was flirting at him.

I ordered a spaghetti with meatballs while Eric ordered a large burger, french fries and two hotdogs and two coke for both of us. I shot him a 'are you serious' look as I heard his orders.

"what? I'm a grown man. Do you see this? and this?" he said as he showed off his biceps and his abs. "it needs a lots of energy" he added.

"yeah right" I snorted as I face palmed myself. He really needed some manners. Seriously, who opened up his shirt, randomly.. In a diner? Oh thats right, him.

"you dont have to be embarrassed. I know you like it, dont you? I bet you even want to touch and li--"

"oh my god Eric, stop! That is so gross" I cut off before he can finished his words. He smirked as I narrowed my eyes on him.

"you know what? your ego is so big even Chinese population cant beat you"

"Youre hurting me.." he replied as he put his hand on his chest and pouted but he replaced his fake reaction with a grin. "and you are hot as hell, babe" he winked as he said it.

"dirty minded asshole.." I whispered to myself.

After a while, our orders were finally arrived. The waitress put down Eric's orders first and then mine. Of course though. I rolled my eyes as she gave him her numbers on a piece of paper. She walked away as she signalling Eric to call her. I watched them with a bored look. I maybe even can beat Squidward for that.

I inhaled the spaghetti scent and my stomach growled instantly. Taking the fork, I dug the pasta and shoved it in my mouth. For a second, I forgot about everything as I ate it while my eyes were closed.

"you eat with passion you know. You maybe even qualified for a commercial actress on tv" he chuckled.

was that a commitment? I dont know.

"you're interrupting me and my food" I said.

"I'm your date"

"youre a jerk"

"I'm hot" he snickered.

"I thought I was hot" I replied.

"I'm hot now" he smirked.

"yeah, because you are with me" why did I said that again?

At this point, I realized that we were so close that if one of us move forward we could kiss.

and he did exactly that.

We stared at each other after I pushed myself from him. I blushed as I continued eating my food. He cleared his throat as he too started to eat his burger.

Was this awkward?

Eventually, his phone went off. He smirked as he looked on his phone. Probably reading a message. He started to type something with a face that hard for me to read. Happy, shy but still he had that stupid grin on his face and satisfied?

"who was it?" I asked.

"Nah.. just a friend of mine"

"okay.." I trailed off not wanting to busy boding people problem or whatever that message was.

"I hope we can go to another date again" he said.

"umm.. yeah" I replied simply as I didnt know what to say.

"Jane?"

"hmm?" I looked up at him as I bit my lip.

"dont do that"

"do what?" i asked.

"nothing"

"okay.."

"Jane..?"

"wh-" I widen my eyes as his lips met mine. He put his hand on my cheek as I closed my eyes. The kiss became deeper but eventually we both needed some air. He put his forehead on mine.

"that was amazing. Thank you" I blushed as he said that.

"youre welcome" I replied.

what the hell was wrong with me?

"go on inside" he smiled.

"bye Jane" he added.

"bye Eric. See you on monday" I said as I walked to the door.

"I'll pick you up" he replied.

"of course. youre my driver" i replied with a duh tone.

"yeah. Forgot about that" he grinned as he scratched the back of his neck.

"goodnight Jane. Sweetdream" he added.

"you too Eric"

"nah. My dream would be more interesting" he smirked

"shut up" I shouted as I closed the door. Not wanting to hear anymore of his come back. I smiled as I heard him laughed on the other side. The date ended up well, I think.

This was so not me.

What did Eric do to my old self? and why did my heart beat like crazy?
