chapter 4

(tammy's p.o.v)

I knew blondie was the one for mik, just the way they looked at each other from the moment they shook hands...omg this is- I sound like a 14 raging horomonal female...what the hell. I didn't know what I'm acting like this, no I do know. I'm happy for mik because maybe nia-blondie is truthfully the one for her and I just want my best friend to be at the peak of her happiness! "do you want to go for coffee sometime?" I hear blondie ask her. before she can answer I jump by her side, put my hands on her shoulders, and smile "she'd love to blondie!" she smiles and nods her head. "brilliant. can I borrow your cell?" I back up to let her get it out of her apron as she hands it to him with a confused smile. He hands her phone back and walks away waving to both mik and I. "see you soon love." he calls to her. "not soon enough!" she yells back. really? desperate much? I grab her phone and go to the contacts when I see: blondie (414) 937 1265 (I totally just made that up...not his real number. I wish though.) my face lights up and I shove the phone in her face. "did he really just-" she half says pointing and I nod excitedly. "he totally likes you!" I tell her. she blushes "come on and let's go clock out." she points to the clock "our shift is over." we both clock out and run to the car to go back to our flat. the drive was pretty silent except for the occasional peeps or squeals from me, then her. we arrive at the flat, run inside and both strip out of our work clothes and into our bathing suits. we both come out of our rooms at the same time and yell "BEACH TIME!!!" this is why we're best fr-sisters I mean. Mik grabs the towels while I get the tanning oil and magazines. She comes from the corner with a huge beach bag to throw all our stuff in. Her and I both race outside to our bikes and start the 3 mile ride to the beach. Mik beat me there because she's the more athletic out of us two but I was a close second behind. She throws the bag in the sand and dives head first into the ocean. oh how I- no. no, no, no...not him. when I emerge from the water and look to the right I see the same guy I rejected like 5 or 6 times. Liam payne.
