The bridge howled

The bridge of noise howled. The bridge between our worlds.
It howled like a whale bellowing
This level of the sea created an unknown tension
An anonymous emotion was present in my being
There was another person; an unknown watcher.

A third party monitored
The crackle of the tip of my scaly head breaching the surface was a soft gunshot
The soft gunshot of my ascent echoed in the night
My lantern-lit emerald eyes breached the exterior of the liquid directly afterwards
The liquid was a snake moving around my neck
My colossal collar cracked through nocturnal environment as the secondary spectator alluded my senses
Then, the sound of my soul and the noise of the sea rattled through the icy waters
The old man was located near the device
The device was the source of the noise from what I sensed. The device rang again across the nightly air
Without the weight of the Deep or the emotionless of the depths, I was unprotected without use for defense
My animalistic wrath was activated. Not just that, but it was enhanced. Supercharged
My fury was the first of its kind
I was exposed above the water; I was void without or with the bottomlessness. I was dead either way
The contraption stopped. The intensity of the following moments was immense
The third party cried, and his young words cut the nightfall
The elder fumbled with the device. I neared
The elder flipped it as the other watched. I neared
The new one saw my large, webbed paws. I neared
I was there. My large forest eye sparkled. My eye shined. It screamed
The sheer intensity of my raw mass shook the tower. I howled, much louder than ever
An explosion of shiny clear material rained upon the two small beings. The cause was my slashing teeth.
The older one cried. The words of gibberish cried help. The other followed
I crashed in the tower after the two reached the bottom. The tower fell. My soul fell.
I disappeared. It's as if I never existed. I never occurred
I never became. Nor did the glowing sound of echoing
The night fell. Silence fell. We all fall
