"He didn't accept my challenge." Lance protested.
Of course he won't. He doesn't like me anyway.
"I heard a rumour about you." I said.
We are now walking towards our home.
"What?" he asked.
"You were Jirlie's childhood friend."
"So?"
"I was just thinking that maybe you like Jirlie."
He stared at me. "No." He mouthed.
"I see, you like her." I insisted.
"I said no! And she already rejected me three times!" shouted Lance.
I feel sorry for him. I know the feeling of being rejected.
We stopped walking in a corner.
"That's why I transferred in South school because I want to know why she rejected me, until I saw her clinging to that beast." He said as he grasps his palm.
"Then why are you trying to get me?"
"Because you're pretty."
I think I blushed.
"I-I know." I said.
"Just kidding."
WHAT?
"I want Jirlie to get jealous." He said.
"So you're challenging Clarence to win over Jirlie."
He nod.
"But I think, there's no use challenging Clarence just to win over Jirlie. I think Clarence don't like her." I said.
"You're right. You two even did something so I think he don't like Jirlie."
"What do you mean did something?" I raised a brow.
"He said you're flat, so he saw it, right?"
What the heck is he talking about? I punched him in his stomach very hard.
"We did not do anything." I said.
"Ouch. I know, I'm just kidding." He said in pain and as he squats in front of me holding his stomach.
I walked away and left him.
