He Is Gone

We finally lost them. All of us were panting. Here some water. Maggie said giving us all a bottle of water. Thanks. We said. Now what? I asked. We find a safe place to live at. Dad said. We all agreed. Carly and Carl were talking. I smiled. I thought that it was funny hours their names sounded the same. I walked beside Beth and Miranda. Her nickname is Mandy

We went to stores and got tents,food and water. We found a place that seemed safe. I set my tent up. I was sharing one with Beth. Miranda was with Carly. Maggie was with Judith. Carl and Dad were together. Herschel was by himself. I set our beds up. I put my bag down. I was starving. Dad what's for dinner? I asked. Well all we have is beans,canned pineapples and chips. I'll take it. I said. Here you cook the beans. Carl and I are gonna go hunting. He said. Okay. I said. I made a fire and put the beans over it. Soon they were done. After we ate I decided to clean up at the river. Beth and Maggie went with me. I took my clothes off and got the soap and washed myself. After I finished I put on skinny jeans and a tank top. I put a flannel over it. Then I put my cowgirl boots on. As I was leaving I heard rustling. I pulled my gun out. I walked over to the Bush. A boy with blonde hair and green eyes popped out. He had a beanie on. He had his lip pierced. I pointed my gun at  him.

Were you watching us?! I asked. No..! He said putting his hands up. Why were you hiding? I asked. Oh um...I was...umm..He said. I cocked an eyebrow at him. You were what? I asked. I was going to go to the river for some water put I heard you guys so I hid. He said. I put my gun down. Wanna join our group? I asked. Sure. He said. We got back to the camp. Dad and Carl were home. They caught a Fox and Squirrel. They roasted it. I already explained who this was. By the way what's your name? I asked taking a bite of the squirrel.

Blake. He said. I'm Emma you can call me Em for short. I said. He smiled. After we ate I decided to go to sleep. I heard shuffling and growling. I quickly got up and got my knife. I shook Beth. Yeah? She said stretching. Wake up I hear a noise something's out there. I whispered. She quickly got up and grabbed her knife. We walked out slowly. I saw walkers every where. Oh my.....I said. We woke everyone up. We have to go! We can't take them all! Dad said.

Dad,Miranda,Beth,Maggie and Hershel followed. We ran. We found a prison. We cleared it out. Wait dad where's Carl and Carly?! I asked. He froze. I put Judith in my cell on the bed. Dad we have to find them! I said. We will. He said. I'm coming! I said. No your staying here you need to take care of Judith. He said. But dad! I said. No Emma. He said. I don't want anything hurting you. He said. I'm strong dad! I can do it! I said. Em listen your important to me. I don't want to loose you. He said. Now stay here and take care of your sister. He kissed my head

Bye Em I love you. He said. Love you too dad. I said hugging him. After he told everyone he left.

Carl's POV
I went to sleep. I heard noises but it didn't bother me. It's just a dream. I said. A few minutes pass and the sounds are still there. I decide to wake up. The noises are still here. It wasn't a dream. I grab my knife and go out. All I see is dead walkers and alive ones. I go to my dad's tent. No one is there. I go to my sister's tent. No one is there. I go to Carly's tent.

She's asleep in there. I quickly shake her. Carl? She asks. Come on we have to go! I said. I grab her hand. She gets her bag and we leave. A few days later we find a house. We need to find the group. I said sitting down on the couch. Yeah we do I miss my sister and every one else. She said. Yeah. I said.
