My throat was hurting really bad. I wake up and take a sip from my water bottle that was sitting on my nightstand. I check the clock. 3:46 A.M. Dang it.
Now that there was absolutely no chance I could get back to sleep, I tiptoed downstairs, trying not to wake anyone else up. I see someone sitting on the couch. "Annie?"
"Hay! What are you doing up so early?" she asked. She had a blanket over her and GG was sitting next to her. Suite Life on Deck was on the TV (all those old shows are on in the morning)
We hear footsteps from upstairs. "Annie, Hayley? Where are you?" It was mommy. I must've waken her when I came down.
"Downstairs, Mom." Annie said. She was petting GG.
I heard the noise our stairs always make- well, I heard the first three. Then I heard a large THUD.
"Mom... Mom!" Annie yelled. She ran up the stairs and I followed her. Mommy was on the third stair, bleeding and unconscious. "Hayley, go get Daddy!" Annie told me. I ran into the bedroom and shook him. "Daddy, Mommy's hurt!!" I yelled. His eyes were half open. He got out of bed and followed me to the stairs. "Katie!" he yelled.
Annie grabbed the phone and dialed 911.
"Hello, yeah, my mother just fell down the stairs and is bleeding herself unconscious, what do you mean it's not urgent?"
Ugh.
