Part 5: Business

FIRST, I'm so sorry for this super duper late update!!!! Life has been kind of whopping my butt lately, and college takes a major toll on your time, I have a lot of great ideas for this and any advice is very much appreciated. None of these events are real, but boy do I wish they were.

-Meeting With The Boss-

I walked into the board room nervous, anxiously waiting for the CEO of Scholastic to come in to the building. It's been a long week, having to meet insane deadlines back to back and waiting on the word from Chance to turn in my resignation letter. Angelia caught wind of my departure and began to have her last bits of fun at my expense before I left for good. I almost reported her, but it made not much of a difference considering that she slept with at least two of the board members. I was leaving, so I dealt with her pranks and antics for these last few days. Those included whipped shaving cream next to the bagels, having my keyboard keys switched around, stealing paper out of my printer, throwing my food out before lunch, and a number of other offenses. You know, for her to be in her 50's, she sure is a child. Michael fought with me through text about me staying in Atlanta. It was sad almost, his mother wanted me gone as soon as humanly possible yet he begged for me to stay. It wasn't always this way between Angelia and I. In fact, we were very close for the entire year that I was an intern.

~Intern Days~
Picture This: Dymond strides into the building, confidence in her steps as she approaches the front desk in Scholastic Books, the adrenaline from her coffee and anxiety mixing together almost causing an instant high. Angelia sees the young intern and smiles, eager to *finally* have another woman in the office.

A: Good morning! Welcome to Scholastic!

D: Thank you! Good morning!!

Dymond quietly smiled and checked in, excited about the adventures ensuing.

A few months in, Dymond fell into a deep rage concerning Angelia when the woman undercut her just to get a promotion. Nothing would be the same between them.
