Chapter 3: assignment

It's official that the guys are your new best friends. You've been apart of there team for about three weeks and the boys each have sorta a role in your new life. Calum is like an older brother, Ashton is the goofy bff, Michael is the cheeky friend you would get advice from, and lastly Luke. Luke is the cute guy that you most likely will end up falling for, but you haven't realized that yet. Currently you were in the work room while the other guys got lunch and you were just tidying up the guys stuff while jamming out to some Melanie Martinez (she's amazing if you haven't checked her out, then you definitely should). Training wheels had just gone off and mrs. Potato head had just came on. You started humming softly at first then full out singing to the deep song. You hadn't heard the door open, where the boys piled in and softly closed the door.

"No one will love you if your unattractive..." 

"Well, we'll love you!" Ashton yells out

Michael nudges him and says "dude, you made it sound like she's not attractive"

"I didn't mean it like that! Cause your totally attractive, like way more than Michael and calum combined!" Ash starts talking very fast trying to clarify and make sure he didn't seem mean

"Haha, guys it's fine. My face isn't all that anyways so yeah, no need to fuss over it" you say to the guys nonchalant while throwing away and old box that used to hold pizza.

Luke speaks up wanting you to know his opinion "well, I think your face is all that, your easily the most beautiful girl I've ever seen." Luke says while passing out lunch.

You look up shocked, no one had really told you that you were beautiful."really?

Luke looks up at you with a small smile "yes really"

You smile before saying thanks and sitting down to eat. You had barely unwrapped your burger, before the PA system had went off the man saying "all members from room 504 please head down to 206 right now" and with that the system went off. You groaned and stood up while the boys just sat down and ate lunch. "Guys that's us, do you even know what room were in?" You ask already knowing the answer.

"We don't need the number, we have the sign on the door to show us it's our room." Says Ashton

"Well we need to go this meeting thing, so stop eating." You say smiling from the door 

All the boys groan before following you to the elevator. You all sit in silence because there's about three other totally professional dudes in there as well. You get out on the second floor and get to the room.

"Welcome everyone, please have a seat" mrs.W says from the end of the meeting table. Everyone sits down and she takes a sip of her water before resuming the meeting. " so you all may be wondering what this is all about" she says looking at everyone. You nod with the boys.

"Well we have a mission and we need young people to do it."mrs.w explains. You get excited, you've been waiting for your first mission and it was finally here. "But we need only two people, a girl so y/n and a boy. So I'll let you decide who that will be now." Ashton, Michael, and calum all look at each other before nodding agreement and blurting out at  same time 

"Luke!" 

You look at Luke and smile alittle. He looks alittle shocked but nods letting her know that he'll go on the mission.

"Well I will have the information of the task sent to the two of you, so you all can leave now. Good day, as well as good luck!" She walks out and you all walk over to the elevator 

"Well I can't wait to be your partner y/n" Luke says from next to you. You look over and smile before opening the door and finishing lunch.
