Chapter 12

Dayu tap his finger on the table, his eyes sometimes flicker towards the sulking Wang Qing sitting on the bed, facing his MacBook. There is a clear reddish mark on his cheek, after Dayu instinctively landed a hard punch on Wang Qing's face when he tried to grope Dayu's ass. Dayu tend to get violent when he feels like hi is in danger, so that's the result.

Wang Qing made a fuss when Dayu threatened to leave, so being the angel he is, he ends up staying, but with one condition. Wang Qing has to get his repot before midnight, or Dayu will never come back again. And it works like a magic spell. Should he be proud?

"Dayu," Wang Qing looks up, his face looking sour than ever. "Come and sit here beside me. I wont's do anything, I promise."

"Yeah, right," Dayu scoff. "Focus, Qing. I though you said the deadline for the report is tomorrow."

Wang Qing groans loudly, but he complies and continues with his work, though he would sometimes glance at Dayu, with that expecting look in his eyes as if he is waiting for Dayu to go over to sit beside him. Dayu want to laugh, but he holds himself back. It's hard to believe that this is the same guy who went on rampage a few hours ago.

He must have been a pampered mama's boy.

Dayu think about it, but he feels a little sad at the though. Dayu have lost his father too, and he know exactly the feeling of losing someone you love. Someone you thought would be there for you forever. Wang Qing has never once told Dayu about his family, let alone mentioning their names. It's as if they are nothing more that strangers living under same roof.

Is that even normal?

But again, there is no such thing as normal when it comes to Wang Qing.

"You still owe me an explanation," Wang Qing suddenly say."

"About what?"

"About you and Weiting."

Here comes the trouble.

Dayu know there is no way Wang Qing would let him get away with this after he found out Weiting wasn't just an old friend. But telling him about his past would just mean dragging him into Dayu's problem, and Dayu would never want that. Wang Qin is got enough troubles to worry about.

"It's nothing really," Dayu exhale deeply, as he leans comfortably against the couch and stare down at his feet. "We weren't really lovers. We just hooked up, that's all, I did have a crush on him, but Weiting isn't the type to date. He is a bit like you, in some way."

"Like me?" Wang Qing scowls. "How exactly?"

Aww, did I poke in the wrong place?

Maybe Dayu shouldn't have said that.

"I mean... you... you are kind of-"

"What?"

A jerk.

That was what Dayu would like to say, but it's probably better to just keep it to himself. He shouldn't mess with Wang Qing when he is still in a state where he can go berserk at any moment. Dayu still value his life after all. Dayu doubt Wang Qing would hurt him, but there is always a slight feeling of terror deep inside him whenever he is facing Wang Qing's other side. Dayu isn't afraid of what Wang Qing is going to do to him. He is scared of what Wang Qing would become.
