chapter 17 sorrow , and a sliver of hope

*Some slight to mild cussing*

EJ POV

"I'm so upset! I can't believe she got fucking kidnapped by Zalgo. I haven't slept last night and I only ate one kidney, I haven't even hunted since yesterday. I guess the only thing keeping me going with out her is Sally. She has been wanting me to play with her a lot, so tea party's and dress up for me".
I thought to myself while I was laying in bed, but after a while I was dragged out of my bed by Sally.
"Come on! I want to play," she giggled, pulling on my arm. I smiled behind my mask and went to go play tea party with her. She even got Jeff to join surprisingly, so we sat there, enjoyed our invisible tea, and talked using fake British accents. Just talking up a storm, before we all departed ways into our rooms afterwords.

*Tme Skip To Two Weeks Later*

I haven't slept at all and altogether I refused to eat. I even started to refuse to get out of my room, but I heard a knock at my door.
"Come in," I muttered. Slender came in, closed the door and sat down on a chair. I had scooted across, my bed, sliding closer. He cleared his throat before he started talking.
"I think I may have found a way to get (Y/n) back from Zalgo's evil clutches, but it requires all of us to go into his lair and fight him. Also it takes a while to get the spell done and a while to get it ready. It also has to be done on a eclipse. Lucky for us we have one coming up soon,"
I smiled behind my mask and told him that would be awesome and that I'm glad that he found one.
"I'm going to tell Trenderman about it," he said, standing up with me following close behind, but turning back to look at me when he reached the door, "Oh, and EJ, eat something and get some sleep before I knock you out myself,"
"Ok I will," I smiled, excited tgat I would be finally get my (Y/n) back. I closed the door after he left, then I ate at least five kidneys, scarfing them down in under 5 minutes. I took off my mask and went to sleep.

TrenderMan's POV

I sighed deeply, cracking my long knuckles. I rolled my head around, trying to ease some of the tightness that ran throughout my body. My stress levels has risen dramatically since the kidnap of (Y/n), my temper flaring at random moments. Still, i could tell i wasn't the only one effected by this, EJ had been doing just as terrible as me, maybe even worst.
Over a month. It has been over a month since (Y/n) was kidnapped, and we had no type of luck finding any way of getting her back. It was.... Hopeless. But I can't give up, not when I know that (Y/n) was out there, waiting for someone to help her.
I stood abruptly, pacing the library room back and forth past rows and rows of books. I tapped my fingers on my sides, trying desperately to think of something, anything, that would help get her out. When I came up with nothing, I flopped back down in my chair, my face in my hands. It was hopeless. What kind of father was I? I can't even get my daughter out of that hell Zalgo calls a home.
Just as my anger started boiling within me, I heard the door creak open, my brother poking his head in. I motioned Slender closer, urging him to come forth. He did so, and sat in the chair near mine.
"Brother, we may have found a way to get (Y/n) back, although it will take all of us to go to his lair. Its a special spell that takes a while to fully form, so it may take a few days. Not only that, but it has to be done doing the eclipse. Theres one coming soon, so that is our chance."
I sighed in relief as Slender finidhed talking, feeling the heavy weight of stress lift off my shoulders.
"Thank you," I breathed, slouching back in my chair. A few more days. Inly a few more days and I'll be able to get my daughter back. Slender nodded, and excused himself, slipping out of the room.
I closed my eyes, letting sleep consume me for one in over a week.
"Thank you," I muttered, letting the blackness take over.
