Chapter 4

DC's POV-
My name is DC Doulhberg. (I know I spelt that wrong sorreh XD) I'm 15, bisexual, and today is my first day of high school. I have four siblings, Mason, Maddy, and AJ. I'm the second oldest and sitting on a noisy bus. I'm here with my best friends, Izzy, Pomy, and Cara. Alright, maybe I want one of them to be more than friends...
"DC? You OK? You spaced out for a minute there!" Cara exclaimed, waving her hand in my face.
"Oh, yeah, I'm good." I snap out of my thoughts. I have terrible memory, so bad we had to see the doctor, and he suggested reviewing my basic alibi morning. I hated it, but it's becoming a bit of a habit and now I do it without even realizing I am. I hate to admit it, but it helps. "So, are you all excited for high school?" I asked quietly, trying to create small talk.
Izzy groaned. "Why does everyone ask that?! It's just a school day. You're just new to everything." I'm suprised she's so indifferent. Although, she is the fiesty one, the day doesn't matter to her as long as she gets to go home at the end of the day. Maybe take a few bad kids down. She's good at heart, really, despite what others think, and she'll stand up for what she thinks I right. I admire that quality.
Pomy fiddled with her skirt nervously and squeaked a 'yes'. She's very apprehensive, and self-conscious, like me. We're almost exactly alike, despite my more emo take on things, so you can imagine we get along very well.
And Cara, well, she's the exact opposite of me. She's outgoing, friendly, and hyper. She's shaking, but I think that's more from caffine than nervousness.
"I'm glad we got a bunch of classes together!" Pomy exclaimed. "DC, I haven't seen your schedule yet, though. Can I see?"
"I haven't either!" Izzy and Cara add in, then all the schedules are stuffed in my face. Like the rest of them, I have the majority of classes wirh them, although I have one class with Izzy and Pomy, and one with just Cara. I noticed Izzy and Pomy have the same exact schedule. Figures. After everything last year, the district wouldn't want Izzy apart from us, especially Pomy. Cara has Algebra II already, so she has a class alone. Pomy and Izzy have Teachers Aid without me.
Well, at least I'm with my friends the majority of the time. And my crush. I wish I could tell her, but they don't even know I'm bi yet. Plus, I'm sure she doesn't like me...
But a girl can dream, right?
