(This is not the character of Casady, just a model. This dress is the dress she picked)

Weeks passed and Paul and I started the basic planning for our wedding. It was going to be in November, near my birthday, when it was cool outside, but not cold. We were getting married in the church he was baptized in and the reception was out at a vineyard.
I had also started feeling a bit weird. I don't know if it was nervousness or tiredness from everything that had been going on, but I just felt funny. Paul noticed I was eating more, and I had been sleeping a lot more than normal.
It was almost September, and we had just about everything planned. I was going shopping for a dress with Abby, Emma Rudd, an old friend from elementary school, Cynthia, and Maureen. Abby was my maid of honor, and Julian was the ring bearer.
Paul's groomsmen were quite predictable. His best man was Brian, and his other groomsmen were Mike, George, and John. Ringo was a witness and Pattie was the other witness.
I had already picked out Paul's ring, a thick, gold band with our birthstones on it and our initials carved in the bottom. I didn't know what my ring looked like.
As the 4 girls and I walked into the dress store, I was in awe of all the beautiful white dresses that adorned the racks. I knew what I was looking for.
I came out in the third dress, and I thought it was breathtaking.
"Oh my God, Casady, you look beautiful!" Cynthia squealed. I smiled widely, as the other girls had looks of awe.

"That is the best dress!" Maureen said.
"I vote for this one," Emma said.
"Fucking hell, I don't know anyone else who could pull that off. You look amazing, Cas!" Abby said, smiling from ear to ear.
"Turn around!" Cynthia said. I did as I was told and I was struck with my own awe.
It was absolutely beautiful. It fit perfectly on my figure, and my hair was flowing down my bare shoulder. My consultant came to put a veil on me that went down to my knees, as the train was a couple feet behind me.
It was a very simple dress, but very, very beautiful.
"I love this one..." I told the consultant, not taking my eyes off my reflection. She nodded and my eyes got glassy. Cynthia came up behind me and out her hands on my shoulders.
"You look breathtaking. Paul's a lucky lad." She laughed and little, as did I.
"This is it. This is my dress."
I reluctantly took it off and put my own clothes back on and went up to pay for the dress. We left with it in a big box and went out shopping, just for a girls day. Pattie couldn't make it as she had another commitment, but Maureen took pictures and would show her and she would obviously see it at the wedding. When we finally arrived back at our house and got out the drinks. Unfortunately, I couldn't be a part of that.
Why?
You'll see.
After each of us had a glass of wine in our hands, for me I had sparkling juice, we sat on the couch and started talking and laughing about our boyfriends/fiancés/husbands. Unfortunately Abby couldn't say much but she still laughed with us.
"There are reasons that John isn't allowed in certain places!" Cynthia laughed loudly. "He's such a child but he's a fabulous father. My only problem is how often he's gone." She shrugged and was determined not to make a bad night of this.
"I say just go talk to him," I told her. "He'll understand, and if you do things right he will change that in the snap of a finger." I winked and she reached over to slap my leg.
"You would know..."
"Yes, I would. Paul is fabulous in that category."
"Alright, alright..." Maureen started. "We don't need to know about the bang bang that happens between you two."
"Aw, Mo, are you not getting any?" Cynthia asked. It was her turn to be slapped, because Maureen slapped her shoulder, scoffing.
"Hey," Emma said, furrowing her brows at me. "Thats not wine!" She pointed at my glass and I felt the tiniest of smirks grow on my face. The room was silenced and I looked around.
"Cas?" Abby asked.
"What? It's not like I'm pregnant or anything..." I hinted. Cynthia's dark eyes widened.
"Holy shit, you're pregnant!" She squealed. I nodded and smiled widely as they all got up to give me a hug.
"When did it happen?"
"The night this happened." I held up my hand to reveal the ring, and they all made sounds of affection.
"I promise you, this is the only time I am ever asking you this, but was it different than the other times? What was it like?" Cynthia asked.
"He had never been gentler. He, like, shielded my body as if somebody were looking. He was extremely protective and determined to make sure I was most comfortable."
"He's such a sweetheart! You are so damn lucky, Cas," Abby said.
"He treated me like a delicate flower, and like, nothing else mattered. It was just us. Nothing else, nobody else existed. God, I don't even know. He makes me feel so damn special, like a queen or something. And he keeps getting me things when I really don't need anything from him. And I can't do anything except sit back, because he won't stop. But he still loves me more than anything, and I love him more than anything."
"You two are perfect," Emma said.
"So are you over the thing with the blonde bitch?" Abby asked.
"I guess. I just can't get it out of my head that he said he loved her. That's the only thing that's still stuck in my head, and I didn't even tell him that I heard that part."
"Are you going to tell him?" Maureen asked.
"I don't know. But I don't want to talk about it anymore."
"Fine by us!" Emma joked. I rolled my eyes and they started asking about baby names.
"Well, I've had a couple picked out for each... I like Haydan Lennon and Mary Leigh for girls, then James Paul and Zachary Lennon, or James, for boys."
"Those are cute!" Cynthia squealed again. She had had plenty to drink already. "I especially like Mary Leigh and Zachary Lennon. I've always liked Zachary for a name."
"Me too!" Abby said. They shared a small laugh and continued to talk about baby things, even though they would have to wait 8 months for the thing to happen.
"Have you told Paul you're pregnant yet?" Maureen asked.
"I'm taking him to our farm and telling him while we're out."
"Are you supposed to ride horses when you're pregnant?" Abby asked.
"You can until the 7 month line, I think. I think it's sometime around when the baby is almost fully developed."
"
