Third POV
"Is that the whole entire story?" Jessica ask her Uncle Rhodes.
"Yeah, it's a War Machine story."
"Well, it's very good then. It's impressive." Thor says laughing.
"Quality save. So no Pepper? She's not coming?" Rhodes ask both Starks.
"No." Tony answer him.
"Hey, what about Jane? Where are the ladies gentlemen?" Maria ask joining the conversation.
"Well, Pepper has a pretty big company to run." Tony reply.
"Yes, I'm not sure what country Jane's in. Her work on the convergence has made her the world's foremost astronomer."
Now that started a war with the two men on the better lady. And Maria & Jessica were just sitting back drinking to see what kind of exciting sh😘t happens.
"And the company that Pepper runs Is the largest tech conglomerate on Earth. It's pretty exciting." Tony said.
"There's even talk of Jane getting a....um,uh...Nobel Prize." Thor states thinking of what the prize is.
"Yeah, they...they must be busy because they'd hate missing you guys together."
Maria says. Maria and Jessica just started coughing like crazy. In between you could hear them saying.
"Testosterone!"
"Oh pardon me for my crazy coughs." Jessica said a hand on her chest with a shock expression.
"Want a lozenge?" Rhodes ask Maria.
"Um-hmm." Maria said walking off with him.
"But Jane's better." Thor shot at Tony. Jessica mouth just dropped down in complete and utter shock and struts off to see some more of her other friends.
In another place
"Sounds like a hell of a fight, sorry I missed it." Sam says to Steve.
"If I had known it was going to be a firefight I absolutely would have called you." Steve says with all apologies in his voice.
"No, I'm not actually sorry. I'm just trying to sound tough. I'm very happy chasing cold leads on our missing persons case. Avenging in your world. Your world is crazy." Sam states how Steve's life just plain old crazy.
"Be it ever so humble."
"You found a place in Brooklyn yet?"
"I don't think I could afford a place in Brooklyn." Steve retort back to Sam at how broke he is.
"Well home is home you know Captain? And you can never forget your home."
Jessica says as she struts her way into their conversation with a small glass of champagne in hand.
"Hey bird friend how you doing? Hadn't seen you since Washington DC."
