Beyoncé's P.O.V.

I paced around anxiously making sure everything was set.

The J.V. and Var. Gym Was set up for the boys and girls.

My principal already expressed the risk of Boys and girls fooling around, but I told him I had it under control.

At least I hope I do.

Allot of the teachers volunteered to help.

All areas of the school were blocked off besides the gyms. It may have been a little extra but we had a schedule for teachers to watch the restrooms and after it was time to go to sleep the doors would be locked, and you'd have to go get a teacher to get into one.

I was already nervous considering we didn't have all the chaperons needed to do this, but just enough for it to still go on. So if this blew up in my face, that would be my ass.

And all though we still needed chaperons it didn't stop me from being surprised when Nicki walked through the door.

"Um... Hi Nicki. What are you doing here?"

"Hello Mrs. Carter." she dragged out my name making it clear she knew who I was.

I sucked my teeth a little embarrassed. I decided I was gonna take Kelly's advice, be nice, and play it cool until I have a reason to beat her ass.

"Oh yeah...that's me. Sorry about the way I acted the other day."

"It's good girl, it's good. I understand, you don't want no woman around yo man, shoot I wouldn't either. My dude, I trust his ass I just don't trust these hoes not to try him."

"I heard that." I smiled raising my eye brow at her.

"Anyways, Mr. Carter sent me here. He said you could use some more chaperons... So I'm here!" her accent was growing on me too quick.

"Um, ok well... Nicki you can just stick with me." I smiled.

"I need more help anyways I'm doing too much." I shook my head.

"What, cha stomach hurt? You got bubble guts or somethin?" Nicki grinned at me.

I hadn't even realized I started subconsciously rubbing my stomach when I made that remark.

Quickly I pulled my hand away.

"Um, yeah my stomach's been bothering me a little." I laughed it off.

Not that I had anything against telling Nicki I was pregnant, but I just met the chick a few days ago. What business did I have telling her I was pregnant? Especially when I haven't told my family yet, that's a little backwards to me.

"If you gotta run off and handle ya business I won't tell nobody."

I eyed her, I hadn't really meant to, but for some reason I didn't believe her comment. I mean it was just the bathroom, not like it really mattered, but I feel like she would be the type to run off and tell someone some petty shit.

"Thanks Nicki." I smiled anyways.

I was about to go back to taking plastic cups out of their bags and putting them on the table, but it seemed Nicki finished the job for me while we had that short chat.

I looked around and all that was left to do was... Nothing. Now we just waited for the pizza to get here in about twenty minutes. And for students to arrive at 7p.m. It was only 6:30.

Dylan was in my classroom, she helped with some stuff earlier, but I made her go there to do "homework" I didn't need anybody questioning our relationship. Although I'm adopting her, as of right now I can still get into BIG trouble for what I've done pertaining to her. She will be reappearing as the other students come in.
