chapter 6

violet's pov

when you wake up you don't usually expect to be laying on top of a dog but hey my life isn't normal

"dare" i whisper in his ear i've tried to get off him but he has a iron clasp

"numhehumhemuh" was my reply

"dare let go i need to go pee" i say slightly louder... nothing "DARE!!!!!!"

"who, what ,where ,why, how?" he barked as he shot up and since i was slightly straddling him , he and i slam heads

"owwwww" i whine as i glare at him "you are the worst sleeping buddy ever!"

"i'm sorry" he murmurs back drowsily

"hurry we gotta go ,school starts at 7" i sing as i jump up cuz here's the thing me=morning person

"what the hell?" i just walk away laughing

after i have bathed dressed and am downstairs getting breakfast, pop tarts yum yum

"hey vi i need to introduce you to some people" dare called from the living room

i walk in with a pop tart in the act of shoving it down my throat(hee hee hee it's sounds funnier if you replace poptart with.... hee hee hee)

"what" i ask with my mouth full, i was hungry

"ewww, um this is my second in command Amos and his sister Malinda" he said while making goo goo eyes at said sister

"nice to meet you" i smiled as i shook Amos's hands i turned to shake her hand but she just smirked and dismissed me with a toss of her hair the blond bitch

"don't let her get to you. if you and dare weren't mates she was supposed to marry him" Amos whispered in my ear making me jump since all my attention was focused on shooting the trifling hoe with daggers not because she was flirting with dare which she was but because she dismissed me as if i were a bug.

"is that true, he seems attracted to her why don't they just elope or something" i ask as i turn my attention to Amos he was cute like almost dare cute with his blond hair and twinkling green eyes oppose to her who had the classic Hitler look of blue eyes and blond hair

"because if they did ,not only would they lose their positions but their powers and they both have powerful enemies and if they lose their powers they are going to be dead before night falls" he says calmly as he slips his arm into mine as we walk toward a beautiful green car

"is that yours?" i gasp as i run over to stroke it

"yep i got it for my birthday" he said as his chest puffed out in pride

"well what are we doing outside of it let's get-er done" we jumped in and drove to school talking and joking all the way

dare's pov

we where in my car driving to violets school since she and Amos left us

" so Francis"Malinda said calling me my middle name ,except for my parents she was the only one allowed to do so " the vampire is cute but she isn't strong why did the fates choose her? come summer surely they know she will fail"

"i think she can do it she just needs to be trained i don't think she is unable just untaught" oddly feeling annoyed at her bashing of violet

"yes of course but why is she just being taught? her lessons should have started at the age of five but eleven years passed and now it begins" she mumbled

"i don't know and you know how the vampires are about having the orders questioned hell it's a ruler thing to get annoyed by questioning"

"true but dare shall you keep a mistress like your forefathers" she purred while rubbing my arm "only your grandfather and you father ignored the tradition shall you follow in their steps or the great ones before them?"

"i don't think it's right to have a mistress " i started making her pout "but i do not know if she wants me"

she looked shocked " what do you mean she will not want you, does she not know who you are?"

"she wants to wait" i smiled as i said it a burning began in my loins

"are you serious?" she sputtered out

i just nod and smile

she started to stroke more intimately " i would never make the king wait for anything. i would give anything to him anyway and anywhere he wants it"

i just smiled uncomfortable

luckily we reached to school apparently the same time violet did i wondered why they where late but then i saw the breakfast sandwiches from wawa in their hands (for all who don't live near Philly wawa is like a cleaner awesomer seven eleven minus the Indians and add homemade food and a milkshake machine)

they both came to join us " let's get inside before the bell rings um Madeline?" saying Malinda's name wrong" are you joining us for school or is it only Amos"

"it's Malinda and i shall be" she said looking down at violet since violet was five three to her five nine

"okay Madison let's get-er done" then for some odd reason she and Amos started to laugh

just then yelling came from behind"viiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii"

she turned and braced herself because just then a tiny Asian slammed into her making them both tumble" hiya Gracie" she mumbled out

"hi vi" grace said as she giggled just then a tall African American with curly bohemian blondish brown hair along with a red headed girl came racing towards us who then proceeded to tackle violet to floor

"oh my gosh, i swear to billy bob Thornton i was so scared you where gonna die" the red head said dramatically

"and leave you Marnie not now i won't hiya Kole" violet said as she popped up "lemme introduce my housing buddy dare, my new buddy Amos and his trifling hoe sister Michelle" she said as she pointed towards each of us

"actually it's Malinda" Malinda corrected through gritted teeth while we gaped at her for calling Malinda a trifling hoe

" so he's who you are living with" Kole said eyeing me

all four of them turned to look at me smirking all circling me like i was a thing to buy or something

"he's cute which means somethings off about him like he collects nail clippings or something" Marnie said

" no he's hot so there is something big about him like feet hands or... yeah" grace said eyeing me

" no he's sexy and he dresses nice which means he's gay" Kole announced while the three girls gave violet sympathetic looks

"he's not gay he's totally straight Margaret know for sure ever since the camp yahmazoo thing" she said as both of us glared at Amos who took violet's hand and ran towards the school

"that's what you get for tying me up last night" she yelled back making everyone in outside look at me
