It been days since Daichi had left back home. The thing is, everyone misses him, but nobody knows where he lives. Nobody has contacts that would put the detective business in ruins by how good they could track somebody. Everyone just had to wait and hope that he comes back. Soon, they realized that wasn't going to happen.

--- 6 Years Later ---
(A/N: I'm letting y'all know that Daichi was 18 when he had to go back. And now I am going to be using povs.)
Suga POV
I was walking down the street. I had finished my class for today. It was strange. Today, Daichi didn't call. He usually calls everyday. Even with the unfortunate death of his father he still called. Oh well.

"What? Oh, it's just my phone."
Bokuto: Dude. Where in the world are you?
Suga: I'm sorry. I was just going to get a cookie from the bakery. Jesus. And don't worry, I'll get one for you.
Bokuto: Snickerdoodle and don't be late.

I walked inside and heard the familiar ring accompanied by an unfamiliar face. Well, not face more like back, but still. I have never seen him before. But DAAAMMMNNN that back! I felt light headed looking at it.
"Hello sir... Oh! Suga! I'm guessing it's the usual?"
"Yes, the 2 boxes of snickerdoodle please."
"I got you fam."
With that the usual guy walked away.
But I still haven't seen the strangers face and it seems he didn't hear the conversation me and the store worker just had.
"Suga, here is your order and have a good day."
"Oh, thank you. And you too." I said with a smile on my face.

I walked back home, but not before I got a call from Daichi.
"Hey Suga. I'm so sorry that I didn't call early. A lot of things were happening. But anyway, how was your day?"
And with that we did our usual routine. Talking and laughing. Telling stories and talking about our day. But soon, way too soon in my opinion, I got home and I had to hang up.

I woke up the next day so excited because I didn't have class for the next 2 weeks AND I am going on a vacation with Bokuto, Akaashi, Kuroo, and Kenma. Kenma really didn't want to come but we forced him.

I gathered up the nerds, but then Bokuto had to say that he was hungry and suggested McDonald's. So of course I had to go.

I walked in with the rest of the guys and saw a police officer whose back looked like the one I had seen yesterday. He was by the napkins, and coincidentally I was told to get the napkins for my group. I walked up behind him, but my throat felt dry. I coughed and he turned around.
"I'm sorry, I didn't see you there."
Jesus Christ on a boat, this man was gorgeous. Dark hair, tan skin, beautiful eyes. Not to mention muscular and a smooth voice that made me melt. I'm not gay, I'm heavily gay and this just solidified it.
"No its all good, I just need to get some napkins."
I did my smile to show that he wasn't doing anything wrong.
"Suga! Are you okay, you were taking a while."
Bokuto came up and asked.
"I'm all good Bokuto." And, of course, I smiled.
"Wait, Sugawara Koushi?" The handsome man asked.
"Um... yeah how did you know? I mean you heard Suga but not my whole name." I was curious. He did look familiar now that I think about it.
"It's me." What?
"I'm sorry, let me introduce myself." Wait is this...
"Well hello, My name is Daichi Sawamura."
Oh. My. God!
