When we got out of the elevator we had to wait until the electricity was back on. Not very long. The elevator was right next to the pool doors so we barely had to walk. As we walked right in front the doors slide open. Hazel gasped. She probably has never seen automatic doors.
The room smelled like fresh chlorine. The pool and the deck were both empty. The ceiling was all glass the bright sun shined through so you would never notice it was indoors. While Hazel and Frank were still looking around I hopped into the pool. I felt the change in temperature from warm to cool. It was so relaxing. I could have stayed in there all day. I realized I was now at the bottom of the pool. The soft ground made me feel like I was in my bed. I heard a loud splash come from about eight feet above. There were so many bubbles. When the bubbles started to clear away I saw Frank swimming at the top of the water. Next, Hazel jumped in. I swam to the surface. Since I could breath underwater I didn't need to take a breath.
Hazel smiled at me with her goggles. Then she quickly dove down touching the bottom of the deep end and rushing back to the surface. When she came up she made the loudest breathing noise I ever heard.
"Are you okay?" Frank asked.
Hazel nodded then dove back down again.
After what seemed like an hour we decided to play catch with a beach ball. Then we took a break and dried off with a towel. Except I didn't need to dry off I just sat down. I was ready for a short nap.
