(Hi guys! Just wanted you to know that this is a Byakuya Kuchiki & an OC Fanfic :))
"I wish you'd die!" he said to her face. It echoed in the whole forest and it stayed in her mind. "What did I do, Onee-chan?" she asked him with a trembling voice. His face grew darker as he glared at her. He turned his back on her and walked away. "Onee-chan?" She ran after him but he cut her off. "Don't leave me here, Onee-chan. I'm scared," she pleaded as she dropped on the ground.
"Onee-chan? Who? Me?" he blurted. "Onee-chan, please don't be like that..." she lowered her tone.
"Stay away from me. From now on, you're no one to me. You understand?," he snarled as he looked back at her then left her there, crying.
Minutes later, a loud screeching noise was heard nearby and made him shudder. "Hollow..." he thought. He knew Akane could take care of it. He can't; so he ran away.
Back at the mansion...
"She should be home any minute," Byakuya told his grandfather.
" Captain Kuchiki, it's urgent," a voice said outside. His grandfather stood up and went to the door. It was Jushiro. He couldn't get their conversation but both faces grew pale. He then approached Byakuya and said "Come with me." And so they both left the house just to go back to the woods. Byakuya became frantic. It was the exact place where he left Akane. Only, it was now trampled by heavy footsteps and decorated with broken tree trunks. As they walked, they saw a trail of blood. Byakuya could feel the anxiety surrounding him and his grandfather, which made him more uneasy.
A few feet further and they saw her. She was pinned to a tree by a sharpened branch. Eyes closed... head drooping... blood flowing from her abdomen towards the ground... arms bruised... He saw her there, cold and helpless. Why did he leave her? Why didn't he go back? Tears flowed down as he stood there, looking at her body.
"This is your fault, Onee-chan." he heard a voice behind him. "Look at what you did to me." He turned around but no one was there. He looked back at her body. Her pale face was now filled with agitation while her eyes were narrowly glaring straight at him. The eyes she once had were now drained of the rich blue color to gray and her face lay askew as she leaned forward. "Why did you let me die!" she shouted. At the blink of an eye, she was pinned to the tree no more but stood in front of him. A hole in her belly made her look worse. "Why, Onee-chan?" and out from her lips came out a loud screeching sound resembling what he heard when he left her.
Byakuya... Byakuya...
He woke up and saw Rukia sitting next to him. "You were having a bad dream, Onee-chan," she said.
