Mom walked out of the room as I sat up and seen Jake. I looked at my hands and began to play with them. I heard him close the door and his footsteps went to his bed. I peeked over to him and he was taking his shoes off.
I looked back to my hands again as I seen him raking off his shirt.
"Britt... I'm sorry, okay? Just don't give me the silent treatment. You know how much I hate that." He said as he stood up and walked over to me with a T-shirt in his hand. He sat next to me on the bed. I stayed silent as I bit my lip, trying to stop myself from saying anything. "Brittney..." He said. "You know I love you so much right?" He wrapped an arm around my shoulder as I took it off. I looked at him and seen sadness clouding his eyes.
I had to make him feel how he made be feel. "Wait... were you crying?" No duh. "I'm so sorry Heaven." He this time hugged me tightly, so there was no way of me getting out of this hug.
He only called me by my middle name, Heaven, when he was really serious about something. I never seen Jake so angry to the point when he slapped me. That slap hurted my feelings when he promised that he wasn't ever going to hurt me.
But now... he did exactly that. "No... get away from me Jake," My voice was shakey from the crying. "You slapped me Jake. You hurt me."
"I-I'm so sorry Heav, I-"
"Jake! Your friends are here!" Mother said.
"Please Brittney. Wipe your face, we'll talk later, okay?" He let go of me and I stood up from the bed. "Let them up here mom!" Jake said.
I walked out of the room and went to the bathroom across the hall. I looked into the mirrow and seen my eyes were really red.
Well, there's no way out of this one Brittney. Pain; 1 Brittney; 0.I splashed water on my face and I dried it with my towel that was hanging from the towel rack behind me. I looked back into the mirror and seen that the redness had died down.
I sighed heavily and walked out the bathroom, turning off the lights. I went back into me and Jake's room and I seen the guys. Two were sitting on my bed, two on the floor, and one was on Jake's bed. The only problem is... is that there was an extra person standing next to Phillip, who was sitting on the floor. "Hey guys."
"Brittney! Wassup girl! Where you been!?" Walker called out.
"I was in the bathroom. You know, freshening up a bit," I smiled and looked at the unknown person. "Who's he?"
"Some guy who claimed he knew you. He's pretty cool though." Young said.
"Well hey! I'm Brittney," I walked over to him and I held my hand out for him to shake. He looked at me, then my hand, then he shook his head. "Well." I put my hand down and everyone stood up. I jumped on Phillip's back. "To the back yard!"
"Why can't you get on Jake's back?" Phillip said as everyone walked out of the room.
"Because me and Jake isn't talking at the moment." I smiled.
"You and Jake are so bipolar with... whatever you got going on." Greg said.
"Oh well. Jake's the one who started it first."
"Oh wait, did you guys see Yolanda earlier? That was epic!"
"Thank you guys. I've always known I have a special talent for that." I said as we walked outside.
"Wait, that was you Britt?!" Phillip said.
"Yep, and this was me also." Before he could have the chance of putting me down, I took out my wings and I flew high in the sky, holding onto Phillip.
