Next day
Sunday

Well, after finding out that Yvonnie was talking to Kavahra, Odell's close friend, Jarvis and I decided to not go through with the plan. As badly as I wanted to break whatever they were having up, I couldn't.

Today was the game of the football game. LSU tigers against the Mississippi State Bulldogs. Yvonnie and I weren't going though because we were going to her aunt/mom Selena and uncle/dad Darryl's house to see Delaine. I was finally about to meet her.

--

"I hope you're dressed GiGi!" Yvonnie yelled at from from inside the bathroom. I checked myself out in the long body mirror. I wore a white sleeveless crop top, light blue shorts, a red, black, and white flannel around my waist, and brown gladiator sandals. My hair was nearly pressed out with a part down the middle.

"I'm dressed! You're the one that's not dressed!" I yelled back at her. Moments later, the door swung and Yvonnie came out dressed.

She wore a white tank top and over the tank top was a black kimono that had red roses all over, black jeans, and red ankle strapped flats. To make things pop she wore gold accessories. Also, her hair was in its natural deep curls.

"Ooh mami." I purred and snapped my fingers. She laughed at me and playfully rolled her eyes.

"You look good too GiGi." She complimented and walked over to the nightstand to get her keys. "Alright come on, let's roll out."

We both headed out the door and out the dorm building.

Jarvis

Today was game day. We've been practicing since two and it was around five now. The game wasn't until seven so we still had time.

"Alright guys take ten!" Coach shouted from the sidelines. We all let out a sigh of relief and walked off the field.

I went to the Gatorade cooler and picked out three Gatorades for Kavahra, Odell and I. I jogged over to them, where they were sitting on the bench.

"Here." I passed it down to them. I set my Gatorade and wiped my sweat off my forehead.

"'Preciate it man." Kavahra thanked.

"So, what's been going on with y'all? Anything new?" Odell brought up a conversation. I twisted the cap off the Gatorade and shook my head.

"Nah, just getting ready for this game." I shrugged and took a sip of my drink.

"Well, it's this girl I met at Chick-fil-A yesterday..." Kavahra trailed off. My mind immediately converted to Yvonnie. Aw hell.

"Is she cute?" Odell eyebrow raised. Kavahra nodded his head and laughed. I just took another sip of my Gatorade thinking, yeah to you cause y'all dated.

"My nigga, she's fine as fuck!" Odell chuckled and dapped him up. Hmph if only you knew.

"So are we gonna meet her?" Odell questioned. Funny considering the fact that you already met her, I continued thinking.
