I paced as I stared at the clock. 1:43. A soft tap on my window hung in the air, slicing the silence in half. I spun on my heel and went as quietly as I could to slide open the window. "You ready to go?" She asked.

"Sure. Now can I ask where we're going?" I asked and she held out her hand.

"We have to kick up the dust. C'mon." She waved her fingers, asking me to take her hand and daring me to ignore it. I put my hand in hers and she pulled me out of my room onto the little patch of roof. We stealthily got down and into her truck.

She tapped her fingers on the wheel. "Okay. First things first, I need a getaway man. That would be you. Now, at Wal-Mart we need to get a few things. Blue spray paint, condoms, scissors, sticky notes, and duct tape." She said. "Why are we getting this random assortment of objects?" I asked again. "You ask too many questions Austin. Relax. I've never been in major trouble over any of the stuff I've done. Well, there was that incident with the burning toilet paper and bush catching fire.... but we aren't using fire or toilet paper as far as I know. Oh! We also need tissues and four buckets of blue paint." She said with a mischievous glint in her eye, a grin curling her lips. Her smile. "Alright. Let's go! Wait. We also need an airhorn." She frowned. "Let's make a list." She got out a sharpie and notepad.

Blue Spray Paint
●Condoms
○Scissors
●Sticky Notes
○Duct tape
●Tissues
○4 Buckets of Paint
Super Glue
○Airhorn

"The super glue?" I looked up from the list as we entered the Wal-Mart. She smiled and ran off to find the stuff. We got to the check out and the lady narrowed her eyes.

"It's not as odd as it seems. We're throwing a surprise party." Audrey said breezily, an easy lie. The woman grumbled but didn't say anything else. We got to the car and she told me to get in the driver seat.

"Okay. Landon lives on 41995 County Road K. Go." She said. I drove to the address she told me and we stopped in someone's yard behind a cluster of pine trees.

"Let's go." She said and we got out of the car. She turned the knob to the front door and it swung open silently.

She muttered to herself or me I wasn't sure, "Ass. Never locks his door. His death." I followed her to his room. She took the super glue and covered every handle and knob in the super glue. She carefully lifted his hands to his palms were up and pulled down the blanket. She covered his hands in super glue. She grinned and lifted his hands by the wrists. He snored loudly but never shifted.

"You might want to close your eyes Austin." She sang. I obeyed silently and shut them tight. I heard her muffled giggle, the blankets shifting and then nothing. "You can open them now." I opened and she had the pen cap in her teeth as she wrote on a neon pink Post-it Note. I read the neat, slanted writing.

Your relationship with Audrey
Has washed away in the Storm

I nodded and she super glued it to his forehead before we slipped out of the house again. I flew down the roads, her laughing hysterically all the way. "What did you do in there anyway?" I asked.

"I-I superglued his hands to his balls Austin!" She gasped. I pulled over.

"You glued his hands to his balls." I repeated. A little snort came from her as she laughed silently while nodding.

"That. Is the best fucking thing to ever happen to him." I said with a straight face. She laughed a few more moments before we kept on driving.

"Okay. Part 2 of my plan. Ivy." She gave me the address and I once again drove there. We got out. "Spray my last name on the top of the car." She said and opened the boxes of condoms. She cut a jagged hole in all of them and duct taped them all over her car. She wrote out the note.

You loved doing Landon so much?
Yeah. Bad idea. This, you idiotic bitch, is the number of times you've screwed other girls' boyfriends. The number of times you've had an abortion in other words. Your friendship with Audrey Has been blown away in the Storm.

I got back in the truck as she finished taping the note down and we drove. "Circle K break!"
