Ayano's POV

"Wait! You know what I've done? Are you going to tell the police? Wait, Why am I worried about that? It's not like it matters anymore!" I was rambling. I was confused and flustered about this new side of Budo that I had never seen before.

"Ayano, were you even listening to me? I said I would have done the same and that I'm willing to do the same for you," he said. However, this just made me more confused.

"What do you mean by 'Do the same for you'?" I still could hardly comprehend that he killed Senpai and Osana! Of course I didn't catch his drift though it was clear as a sunny day.

"You don't get it? I love you Ayano! I've loved you for a while! My secret crush is you!" I could tell he was serious but my heart didn't want it to be true.

"Ya, okay, and the sky is pink, and the rain is gummy bears, and the clouds are cotton candy!" I didn't want it to be true so I retaliated with sarcasm. My heart will only ever belong to Senpai... Who's guts are strewn in a tree... "Why did you kill them? What reason was there for you to kill them? You, a model student: strong, good grades, nice family. Why throw that away and murder two other human beings?"

"Why would you?" he answered simply. I hate it when people answer a question with another question. Especially since it made me come to terms with it. But I didn't want to. I anted him to leave me be so I could punish myself for being careless and not only let Osana steal Senpai, but also watch him die not being able to do a thing.

"It's because I love him. Now I have nothing so please leave me alone!"

"The reason I 'threw that away' is because seeing you hurt like that triggered something. I hadn't hurt anyone badly for six years! Martial Arts is controlled so if I accidentally hurt someone, it didn't count. But when I saw you, a person that I really liked, hurt so bad that they were willing to kill them self, I snapped! I was willing to kill whoever hurt you. That's when I realized, my feelings were stronger than I thought. It was love!" He was glowing and excited. I could tell that he hoped I would accept this, but...

"I'm touched, Budo, but Taro Yamada is the only person that has made me have a feeling! I felt love for the first time! My heart was broken when I loved though, I'm scarred. I need time! You're a wonderful guy but, not now. Not so soon."

Hurt was clearly seen on his face. He didn't like the answer. I can only hope he understood where I was coming from. "At least stay alive for me then. If nothing else don't take your own life like you have so many others."

"Fine." He helped me up off the ground. I guessed the least I could do is stay alive. Maybe I'll warm up to him, but it'll be a while! He needs to know this. "Don't th-"

"I was supposed to have a party celebrating 6 years of no incident..." he cut me off. "Now I gotta break it to them that I hurt someone. Say, could you come with me? They might not loose it as much of a guest it there. We can stop by your house and check with your parents first."

This made me forget about him interrupting me."I guess I could come. There's no need to stop at my house before though! My parents are away somewhere."

"Okay, great! follow me!"

"You really think that we won't be mad just because you brought the girl you knocked those kids out for? Someone called and told us that they died! If they weren't unconscious maybe they would still be alive!" Budo's mom really had some pipes! His dad just stood there in shock while his sister decided she liked me and gripped to my leg like a koala bear.

"Look mom, I'm sorry! I saw that she was hurt, she told me why, and I got mad at them for hurting her! I didn't mean to knock them out! If I had known that they would die, i wouldn't have touched them!" Budo was lying straight threw his teeth. I guess he got good at it since he never told anyone about his secret.

His Dad finally seemed to come to his senses. "The point is that you shouldn't have touched them anyway! I don't blame you for their deaths but you sure did make it easier for the killer to kill! Just go up stairs for a minute. I am so mad that I don't want to see you for a while! GO!"

Budo shuffled up the stairs and his sister let go of me and followed him.

"I'm sorry dear, you must fell so bad! We don't blame you in the slightest! come sit down and have a quick snack! My husband will let Budo down soon enough." Mrs. Masuta handed me a glass of water and a banana. They eat really healthy here!

After the snack, Mrs. Masuta told me I could look around if I wanted to. She was so nice! Just accepting me into their home and treating me as if they know me at all! I went upstairs and stopped at a door which had voices coming from it.

"Is that the girl you've talked about? The mysterious girl that isn't very social?" I could hear a small feminine voice say.

"Yes, that's her. Can you understand why I wanted to hurt them?" Budo's voice came threw.

"Ya! She looks really nice too! I'm a really good judge of character and I can tell that she is passionate and caring! she has my Seal Of Approval!"

Passionate and caring huh? Well I am passionate about the person I love! I'm just glad she couldn't see my murderous side. That would have been a disaster!
