Lucy stopped in her tracks, she heard the familiar yelling of Natsu, only it wasn't the usual happy scream. Natsu was crying and stumbling over himself and ran into Lucy's arms.

"Natsu? What's wrong?" She started to panic. Natsu looked up and became a blubbering mess.

"G-Gray....I-is...gone" He gripped her hands so tight that she would  have normally winced; as soon as he finished his sentence, the world around her became black. She was alone and flashes of Gray filled her head. 

"W-what." Her eyes filled with tears but her face remained expressionless. Her throat clamped up and her knees felt weak. 

"I'm sorry...He's gone...Luce...He's gone.." 

Natsu hugged her and cried into her shoulder, but all Lucy could do was stare into the sky and see his face. The one person she wanted to see right now was him, she wanted to hug him again, laugh with him again, go on a mission with again, eat with him again, make memories, but he was gone. 

Her chest tightened, she forgot how to breathe and mumbled out his name. As his name rolled off her lips, the tears flew freely from her eyes down her cheeks. She patted Natsu's head and hugged him, pulling away she began to walk away. Leaving a confused crying Natsu there alone calling for her. 

She began to sprint. She didn't know where she was going. Only that she stopped at his house. She walked in the dark home and stood in the doorway. She walked to his room and opened his closet, grabbing his jacket and hugging it. She fell to her knees and screamed his name. The tears stained the jacket. She began shaking as she sobbed.

She wanted to see his smile again. She wanted to tell him about her son, and how big he is. She would never get that chance again. Lucy felt a cool hand on her shoulder, she looked up with blurry vision to see Erza, followed by Natsu, and Juvia. All of them had tears in their eyes.

"Lucy, come on. You shouldn't be alone right now." Erza kneeled and hugged her crying, Natsu clenching his fist wiped his tears only to have more run down his cheeks. Lucy's body became numb as she clutched his white jacket.

No matter how much she wanted it too be different, He was gone, and no amount of crying will bring him back.
