Suspicion

In front of Josh and Simon, beneath the bleachers, stood Vik and JJ.

Making out.

Josh smirked and walking over to the two. When he came within hearing range, he shouted, "Break it up, lovebirds! Let's get out of here!"

They broke apart instantly.

"Ah, you caught us," Vik grinned, not caring that they had been found out by Josh and Simon. JJ, however, definitely cared.

"Listen, Josh, please, don't tell Ava and Rachel!" JJ plead.

"Oh, don't worry, but just remember that I have this hanging over your head. I'll keep your secret if you keep mine," Josh said as Simon walked up behind him.

"What? I don't know your secret. Everyone knows you're gay," JJ protested, "Tell me."

"Well, first of all, I'm not gay. I'm pansexual. Get your facts right. Second of all, no, I'm not telling you, I'm just letting you know that if you do find out something about me and you tell anyone, your little secret is coming out too. Like you'll have too," Josh said, shoving his hands in his pockets to stop the shaking. Him and Simon were freezing cold after the little pond incident.

"Fine. But I'll be trying my hardest to make us equal from now on. I bet Vik knows," JJ turned as they began to walk out of the stadium, now surrounded by people.

When Simon and JJ were climbing into the car, Josh pulled Vik aside.

"If you tell JJ, I'll smash your phone then use the shattered glass to slit your throat," Josh said, scarily calmly.

"H-holy shit, okay, Josh, I won't tell him. You can be scary sometimes," Vik said, climbing into the backseat again.

Once in the car, when Josh was adjusting the mirror above his head, he yelped in pain, "Ow, shit!"

"Are you okay? What happened?" Simon asked, resting his hand on Josh's arm.

Josh rubbed the back of his neck and upper back with his other hand, "Nah, it's okay, I'm fine. Seatbelt must'a pinched the back of my neck." Josh chuckled.

"Okay, if you say so," Simon said, leaning back into his seat.

"Josh, you shouldn't have driven," JJ said as they walked up to their house after dropping the others off, "You know what could have happened."

"Just, JJ, I'm tired. Let me go to bed. Please," Josh said, pushing past JJ and into the house.

Josh replaced the slip of paper again. Ava wasn't home yet, she must have snooped around before she left.

Josh wasn't at school Monday, but Vik found a note in his locker.

"I can't believe Josh has time to sneak into school and put stuff in our lockers but can't be bothered to actually show up to school," Vik sighed, as he showed the note to Simon in English.

"Yeah I don't ge-" Simon was cut off when he opened his binder and a note fell out.
