MARISSA

I woke up with a throbbing pain in the head. What did I do last night? ...Oh right, I went to SMTOWN's concert. It'll go away soon. I hope.

Well, it was fun alright. Monique and I got to meet Lay! Personally! We got to see EXO and SHINee live! It was amazing. But now I'm just too lazy to get out of bed. We came home around 12 in the morning. It was fun while it lasted but I was so tired, I knocked out the moment I hit the bed.

"Marissa, wake up! I want to go out," Monique called out. Her face coming into view above me. "Come on, get up. I need my morning coffee. Plus, a new coffee shop opened up just across the block." Her face lit up as she described the place.

I stood up and started pushing her out. "Get out." I didn't allow her to speak another word before slamming the door in her face. Faintly, I heard her turn on her heels, her footsteps echoing down the hall. I plopped back onto the bed.

Something's vibrating.. and ringing. I groaned.

"Just five more minutes." The small device kept ringing, making annoying vibrating noises along with it.

No, it did not stop.

"What, Monique?" I made a whiny voice as I picked it up.

"Hello?" A deep voice penetrated through the speaker.

Certainly not Monique.

"Dude! What did you do to Monique?"

There was an eerie silence over the phone.

"I'm sorry? You must be mistaken. I know nothing of the Monique you are talking about."

Come to think of it... It may just be Monique pranking me. Am I smart or am I smart? You wanna play with fire, Niq? Well, let's play with fire.

"Sorry for my rudeness. Maybe it'd be better if you go alone, Monique, and let me get some sleep. Good day," I rushed my words before hanging up.

Finally, I can get some sleep. I pulled my blanket over me before anybody ahemmoniqueahem tries to wake me up.

----

I woke up to a loud noise coming from below. Ah, don't tell me Monique's still here. Didn't I tell her to go ahead of me? Sigh, this is annoying. I pushed my extra pillow over my other ear.

"Marissa! Are you awake yet?!" Her loud voice feels as if it could just burst my eardrums.

And I thought she was supposed to be the quiet one. And the more annoying one apparently.

Block it out, Marissa. She's just doing this to get you to wake up. You're supposed to be the heavy sleeper in this household. You just gotta keep thinking of the amount of ice cream your gonna have in your dreamland. I don't care if you fall asleep hungry, you're gonna fall asleep and have Monique go to the coffee shop alone like the loner she is. You can do this, Marissa. I have faith in you.

----

"MARISSA!"

A scream pierced through my brain and my eyes instantly opened. Dizziness took over as a flashlight lit from right above me. Now I just barely hear anything from my left ear.

"Goddammit, Marissa. How long do you plan on sleeping your butt off?" Ah, I hear Monique's voice...

"Fuck you," I muttered under my breath while getting up.

"Thanks but no thanks," she started getting off my bed. So much for trying to sleep her off. Don't be so annoying, Monique.

I slipped off the covers and went to take a bath so Miss Bothersome there doesn't have to irk me again.

After a change in clothes, I checked my phone. The same mumber kept appearing on my phone logs.

"MONIQUE!" I shouted at the top of my lungs.

Thousands of loud footsteps bombarded the house. "WHAT?" She came in.

"Goddammit, Monique. Stop spamming my phone with calls. This is getting annoying." I showed her the phone log and the same number appearing at least 15 times.

"Dude, that's not me. How do I call you with a number I don't own?"
