The Comeback - Chapter 2 - Nastias POV -
All I can think about is Gymnastics. But I'm going to college today. In 2 hours, I may start the era of never doing gymnastics again. In 2 hours, I'm going to college. Maybe I will find out if I can do it then. I can hear my mom coming up the stairs. I know I should build up my confidence and keep packing. I gotta think about college. Not gymnastics. My mom walks in my room. "Come one Nastia! We are leaving in 2 hours and we still have to get ALL your stuff into the car!" She says. "Okay." I say as I pick up a box and head down the stairs. I walk out to the car and put my box in. I look at the flowers in my moms flower bed. I see some flowers that were in my Olympic bouquet. It makes me realize that this is something I enjoyed. It's gonna take lots of hours because I haven't done it in so long. But it may be worth it. I decide I will wait until I get to college and ask Shawn what she thinks. Shawn is my roommate at UCLA where I'm going to college. I go back inside and tell my parents I will be back in half an hour. I'm going to go say goodbye to everyone at the gym. I hop in my car and go. I get there and say goodbye to everyone. I just finished when my phone starts to ring. It's Shawn. I pick it up. "Hello?" "Nastia! Do you remember what our room number is? I can't find the card anywhere!" Shawn says. Nastia searches through her purse. Finds her card and tells her. Shawn says "thank you!" And hangs up. Nastia gets in her car and heads back home. It's almost been an hour. "Oh no. I better hurry up so I don't get in trouble with mom and dad" I say to myself.
