The Comeback- Chapter 3 - Nastia's POV
After I finally get home I finish packing all of my stuff Into the car. I go back into the house to find some roses on the counter I thank my parents, but then look at the time, and realize it's almost time to go. I gather my purse and my belongings and head to the car. My mom gets in her car and I hug my dad goodbye. He isn't coming to help me move in because he is training with Katelyn for Worlds. I hope they do well. I get into my car and pull out the driveway my mom is right behind me in her car. I know that it's gonna be a long drive to UCLA so I grabbed some coffee before I left and then I was on my way. As we are driving along the highway, I keep thinking about how much fun it's going to be. Getting to room with Shawn again; just like Beijing 2008,... Getting to meet new friends... Everything! Time flies by. We've stopped at a subway for lunch and then a gas station for snacks. Its sunset and we still arent there yet. I get a call from my mom. She says "Nastia, why don't we stop and stay in a motel in the next town we go by." "Okay!" I say and hang up. We get to a town and find a motel. We decide to go grab some supper and then head to the motel. We stay there for the night. We have to be up at 7:00 and leave by 8:00 if we want to get to UCLA by noon.
